Shua has been enjoying this eight-episode Amazon Prime series Ride or Die, starring Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer. It mixes espionage and action with strong characters and some thought-provoking storytelling, proving it’s more than just another collection of silly spy scenarios. While traveling through Bar Harbor, Maine, Jay stopped at the beautifully restored 1923 Criterion Cinema movie house to see the legendary vampire movie The Lost Boys. The historic theater combines classic Hollywood screenings with live performances and multimedia events, making the experience even more memorable.

Robert De Niro turns 83, and we’re celebrating the incredible career of an actor who has somehow managed to be terrifying, hilarious, dramatic, intense, and occasionally completely ridiculous. We look back at the roles that made him a legend, from his early dramatic performances and collaborations with Martin Scorsese to his transformation into one of Hollywood’s most recognizable comedy stars.
We’ll debate our favorite De Niro performances and imagine him playing some famous roles he never actually played. So grab a cannoli, keep your mouth shut, and get ready for a whole lotta De Niro!
