Jay and Shua revisit some of Disney's strangest, darkest, most ambitious, and most memorable live-action movies of the '80s. We'll talk about the movies that pushed technology forward, discovered future stars, scared an entire generation, and helped Disney find its way toward the blockbuster era.

What we’re Enjoying

Jay has been enjoying the strangest and wildest season of Strange New Worlds yet. Even though the episodes have leaned heavily into some very bizarre genres, he's having a lot of fun with the show and is looking forward to its final season. Shua finally got to check out the much-discussed Coyote vs. Acme, the movie that was famously shelved before eventually finding a new home. Directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch with James Gunn and Jeremy Slater, the film has had quite the journey before finally making its way toward audiences.
