My name is Tim Kail, and I love movies. Growing up, movies were often the glue that held my family together. We invented rituals and traditions in service of that bond. We communicated through the movies and we learned through the movies. We huddled together on couches, we gathered together in theaters, and we refined the art of skipping commercials whenever recording a favorite on VHS . We rented so many movies from the local video store that the owner offered us a special deal: one free rental with every two movies we got.
