Viola Cheptoo is a professional athlete living in Iten, Kenya. She just ran Tokyo Marathon 2026 in a new PB of 2:19 and was 6th overall. She joined us in this weeks podcast to discuss her athletic career, why she started the Tirops Angel's Foundation and the important work it does in Kenya to prevent Gender Based Violence. GBV is prominent in Kenya and the Tirops Angel's Foundation was set up in 2022 after the passing of Agnes Tirop.
