The investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has taken a new turn as authorities reportedly focus on two critical January dates: January 11 and January 24.
According to reports from neighborhood residents and coverage by NewsNation’s Brian Entin, investigators have been asking locals for surveillance footage from those specific dates in the weeks leading up to the incident. Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of January 31, and authorities say she was taken against her will in the early hours of February 1 by an unidentified masked individual captured on home surveillance.
Officials have said the case appears to be targeted, and investigators are also exploring the possibility of an accomplice. DNA evidence, surveillance footage, and prior video requests are all part of the ongoing investigation.
