Episode 06- 'Small Steps, Big Gains' Interview with Nat Evans from Menopause Health & Fitness
In this episode ‘Small Steps, Big Gains’ I had the pleasure of speaking with Nat Evans. Nat is a women’s health and fitness coach who specialises in menopausal health and fitness. Nat has helped hundreds women change the way they do things and to thrive during menopause – her passion is to help women to feel & look amazing again & move better than they ever have! Nat is what they call in the industry -a habit change specialist and she definitely gets results. I absolutely loved listening to the lived, researched, and expert information and advice Nat had. Nat hit peri-menopause at 39. Nat knew how she felt wasn’t right, but no-one was talking to 39-year-olds about MENOPAUSE or women’s very specific Health & Fitness needs! So, she started researching her symptoms and searched for the right practitioner. Nat found her guide to living the fullest life imaginable beyond 40 and she had also found her calling as a Women’s Health & Fitness Coach. For 15 years Nat Evans has helped hundreds women change the way they do things in a specific way, because as Nat says- A COOKIE-CUTTER EXERCISE & DIET PLAN DOES NOT CUT THE MUSTARD ONCE YOU ARE OVER 40! Episode 04 - 'One in Five- Our Sisters' who are Childless not by Choice'
Today I’m talking with Judy Graham. She’s the founder of WomenHood, where she provides specialist support for women who are childless not by choice. 20% of Australian women do not have children when they reach midlife, or the end of their reproductive years. For many women, not having children involves deep sadness, and can really rock their sense of identity and belonging. When society has such a strong emphasis on motherhood, women without children often say that their friendships and relationships are also impacted by their situation; that friends and family often don't really understand, and so they grieve their losses silently. If you’re like me, and you’re shocked to hear that 20% of women - our friends, colleagues and family members - don’t have children and may be feeling isolated with their experience, then please listen in, because this is a conversation about women supporting women and making the invisible, visible. Please leave a review or direct message me with comments or suggestions. I would love to hear from you. Websites: Midlife Ladies Judy Graham- WomenHood Counselling

Since 2018, she has mainly focused on midlife women due to her own crazy journey and what she had learnt. Gina finds it incredibly rewarding to see how lives can change and she loves it!. Her passion and mission is to ensure that women are supported and backed during this crazy stage of life. Episode 01 - 'Let's Talk About Menopause' Round Table Conversation
Menopause, by definition, is one point in a continuum of life stages for a woman and marks the end of their reproductive years and most women experience menopause between the ages of 45 and 55 years of age (World Health Organisation). As midlife women, we know that the lived definition of menopause is a constant state of confusion about the peri-menopause stage and how long that lasts, the change in our bodies both internally and externally as well as the many debilitating symptoms that bombard us all at once. ‘Let’s Talk About Menopause’ is the first of our Round Table Conversation episodes. So please join me, Lorena Connor, in my conversation with four wonderful midlife ladies who provide you with an insight to what their thoughts and experience have been so far on midlife and menopause.
