600. Care Tuk shares the meaning her life has given her on her last remaining days here on earth. This maybe the most joyful, heartfelt and meaningful podcast we have done.
Obstacles and adversity are common to Care Tuk as she turns challenges into opportunities and difficulties into adventures. That is and has been the hallmark of Care’s powerful, fruitful and joyful life. Doing it with God's help is the cornerstone of her walk in faith. Like any battle-hardened warrior, Care Tuk wears her scars like a badge of honor. She's found her life turned upside down, her bank account depleted,, infertility issues, adoption, and more. Through her multiple battles with cancer, a near-death car crash at the hands of a drunk driver, a brain bleed that left her speechless and nearly immobile, she kept going. Even after the unexpected death of her daughter and unborn granddaughter, she kept going forward. Ravaged by the painful side effects of DES (Diethylstilbestrol) – an experimental drug intended to save her life. A body held together by bolts, screws, titanium plates, and 25-pound mono-filament fishing line. You can't find a more dramatic, heart-wrenching, raw, honest, and inspiring story than that of Care. In this 600th podcast of You Just have To Laugh, Care shares the meaning her life has given her. I am blessed, honored and thank God I turned right instead of left and literally ran into her on a street corner in Ketchican Alaska.
