600: You Have More Control Over Your Life Than You Think with Ron Lynch
Life can be hard. Things happen that we don’t see coming. And while you can’t always control the circumstances, you always have control over how you respond. That’s the throughline of my conversation with Ron Lynch. He’s lived life as a true Renaissance man—from writer, director, and producer to cook, inventor, traveler, and philanthropist. He’s built billion-dollar brands and mastered dozens of skills, but what really sets him apart is his ability to choose joy, no matter what life throws his way. In our conversation, Ron shows how that same mindset applies to staying relevant and resilient in today’s world. He explains why developing a wide range of skills is your best defense in a future being reshaped by AI, how to approach learning without adding overwhelm, and why your emotional state is always within your control, even in difficult or uncertain times. We also explore Ron’s powerful “Introduction from God” exercise—a practice that forces you to confront who you want to be remembered as, and challenges you to live in alignment with that vision every single day. KEY TAKEAWAYS Why You Have More Control Than You Think Choosing Peace Instead of Stress and Anger The Da Vinci Model for Becoming More Useful How to Learn New Skills Without Overwhelm Skills That Won’t Be Replaced by AI Why Artisan Trades Are Making a Comeback The One Truth Most People Avoid Facing How Faith and Science Intersect in Purpose Discovering Your True Purpose in Life Writing Your “Introduction from God” The Difference Between Happiness and Joy Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review. 599: How to Receive Divine Guidance and Unlock Your Best Ideas
Ever notice your best ideas don’t come when you’re forcing yourself to “figure things out”? They show up in the shower, on a walk, or drifting off to sleep. That’s because inspiration flows when you quiet your overactive, ego-driven mind and create space for divine guidance. Today, I’m sharing how I learned to replace overthinking with what I call “divine downloads” — ideas that feel like they come straight from God, your highest self, or collective consciousness. I’ll walk you through a powerful story from a recent mastermind that reminded me how life-changing it is to act on inspiration the moment it arrives (before doubt talks you out of it). By the end of this episode, you’ll know how to create more space for inspiration, capture those ideas before they fade, and turn them into the kind of meaningful action that transforms your life — and the lives of those you care about most. If you're worried that AI will replace your job or that Bitcoin is just hype, this episode will challenge your perspective on the future of work and money. For many, AI sparks fears of mass job loss or the gradual erosion of our ability to think for ourselves. And Bitcoin comes with concerns about volatility, or the belief that it’s just a speculative investment bubble. But as you’ll hear from today’s guest, it’s not all doom and gloom. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Mark Moss is one of the world’s leading experts on Bitcoin and macroeconomics, and has recently been appointed Chief Bitcoin Architect for a billion-dollar international company. Mark shares how major technological shifts in history echo today’s AI changes—and why job loss fears may be overblown. He explains how AI often enhances jobs instead of replacing them, and how it’s boosting professional performance. We also discussed why Bitcoin is more than just digital money—it’s the first new financial asset in 500 years, and it’s reshaping our understanding of wealth. Mark breaks down how our money is being silently devalued, why the illusion of wealth is keeping the middle class stuck, and how Bitcoin is emerging as a potential global reserve asset. And in today’s episode, I’m sharing how one person helped me get answers no one else could. His name is Jason Ward, and he’s a medical intuitive who’s worked with over 80,000 people. 593: Freedom From Suffering with Peter Crone

593: Freedom From Suffering with Peter Crone
What if the limitations you believe about yourself aren't the truth but a prison of your mind's design? Today, we'll explore how our deepest struggles—feelings of fear, not being enough, or childhood trauma—are rooted not in reality but in subconscious stories we've come to accept as true. Those invisible narratives keep us in a state of suffering and prevent us from reaching our full potential. Peter Crone, known as The Mind Architect, has helped world-class athletes, executives, and everyday people rewire their subconscious beliefs and unlock "the power of infinite possibility." Having tragically lost both of his parents by the age of 17, Peter learned firsthand the pain of loss and the impact of unconscious trauma. But rather than letting it define him, he used it as a catalyst to understand the inner architecture of the mind, and now helps others break free from their own constraints. In this conversation, Peter guides me through a live coaching experience and unpacks the nature of emotional suffering, the origins of limiting beliefs, and why healing starts with awareness. If you've ever felt stuck, burdened by the events in your past, or disconnected from your true self, this episode is a masterclass on navigating negative emotions and returning to a place of freedom, love, and possibility. KEY TAKEAWAYS How early life trauma wires subconscious beliefs that shape our identity The difference between emotional pain and psychological suffering Why affirmations often don’t work—and the language used to dissolve limiting beliefs The 10 “primal prisons” that keep us stuck in patterns of fear, shame, and inadequacy How to access inner freedom through self-inquiry and conscious awareness A powerful mindset shift for men and women around emotional expression and empathy Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review. But by reading one book, her intuition told her to book a one-way ticket to Bali to learn about breathwork, and her life was changed forever. In our conversation, you'll learn how breathwork creates sustainable transformation when combined with mindset shifts and the concept of making emotional pain optional by tapping into its power and using breathwork as a tool to make those moments easier to manage. 590: The Dark Side of Biohacking
We live in a time when there is so much information and technology available to optimize our health, making it increasingly easy to fall into the trap of obsessing and overcomplicating our health. I recently had the honor of speaking at Dave Asprey’s Biohacking Conference, and I had an eye-opening realization: sometimes, the pursuit of biohacking can lead us away from peace and into overwhelm. In this episode, I’m sharing five (5) nature-based “biohacks” that are free and cost nothing to help improve your mind, body, and overall well-being. While there is no shortage of tools and gadgets, such as cold plunges, red light therapy, and PEMF mats, that track every macro—and I’ve tried them all—we actually have everything we need if we just utilize what nature provides. No matter what your personal goals are, whether it’s to lose weight, add muscle, or improve cardio, I believe that improving our health isn’t achieved through suffering; it’s attained with consistent and sustainable actions that give you the energy and motivation to propel you towards the next step. KEY TAKEAWAYS How biohacking can shift from helpful to harmful when it becomes obsessive Why peace—not performance—should be your health goal Three questions to ask yourself to simplify your health routine Five nature-based habits that are both free and timeless How breathwork, natural sunlight, and grounding are great ways to reset and calm your nervous system Why learning more can sometimes be procrastination in disguise Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review. From an early age, we’re taught that the more you know, the better. But times have changed, as must our approach to learning. More information is overwhelming, confusing, and slows us down. If information alone were the answer, we’d all be exactly where we want to be. The true indicator of success or failure isn’t the volume of what you know but how effectively you apply that knowledge. Whether it’s consuming podcasts and books or keeping up with social media on top of our work and family life, many of us spend time learning but struggle to implement what we’ve learned. That’s why I’m thrilled to welcome Pat Flynn back on the podcast. Pat is a long-time friend, beloved author, entrepreneur, speaker, and host of the Smart Passive Income Podcast. In today’s podcast, and in his newest book, , Pat shares a brilliant approach that can change the way you think, learn, develop, and enhance new skills. In our conversation, you’ll learn the difference between what Pat calls “just-in-time learning” and “just-in-case learning,” how micro mastery enhances our learning process, and how voluntary force functions like setting dates and deadlines helped him succeed in business, public speaking, and even fishing. 587: Overcoming Financial Anxiety and Economic Uncertainty
One of the biggest contributors of stress that is impacting millions of Americans right now is financial anxiety and economic uncertainty. In fact, according to a recent survey, 70% of the population is feeling the impact of the current economy. Not just mentally, but there's also a physical toll when your overall health, diet, and sleep habits start to slip. With that in mind, I'm sharing tips on mastering your mindset and three (3) simple steps that helped me turn things around from one of the darkest periods of my life in 2008, when I was drowning in debt, to doubling my income in just two months, even as the recession got worse. How did I do it? I leaned into what would become the Miracle Morning and the S.A.V.E.R.S. to focus on improving my financial situation. In doing so, I was able to stop my suffering and depression, regain my peace of mind, and start building momentum again. Whether you're struggling with inflation and the rising costs of groceries and basic needs or simply feeling stuck, these three steps can help you take action today and improve your situation, starting from the inside out. 585: The Woman Who Raised Me - My Mom's Incredible Mindset with Julie Wilson
This episode is incredibly long overdue but the stars aligned, and I had the chance to interview someone who has been instrumental in helping me become the man I am today. That person is none other than my mom, Julie Wilson. I can’t wait for you to hear her story and mine from her perspective. You’ve heard me talk about many of the difficult chapters in my life—losing my sister, surviving a near-fatal car crash, battling cancer—but today, you’ll hear those stories through the eyes of the woman who lived them right alongside me. And when I say literally, I mean literally beside me. My mom has been through more than most: the heartbreaking loss of a daughter (my sister), raising a rebellious teen (yep, that was me), watching me fight for my life multiple times, and most recently, surviving a serious fall that shattered her heel and broke her wrist. And yet, she remains one of the most joyful, optimistic, and resilient people I know. Her strength doesn’t come from avoiding hardship—it comes from choosing laughter, faith, and service in the face of it. Whether you’re a parent, a child, or someone simply navigating a tough season with life’s curveballs, this episode is packed with love, wisdom, and great perspective. 581: How to Repair and Heal Damaged Relationships
04/09/2025
581: How to Repair and Heal Damaged Relationships
According to a 75-year-old Harvard study on happiness, the single greatest predictor of a happy and long life is close, healthy relationships. But when a close relationship fractures, whether that’s with a close friend or especially your spouse, it can have a devastating impact on your mental and emotional wellbeing that can take months, if not years to overcome. So today, I want to share a 5-step process for repairing and healing damaged relationships that’s truly been transformative in my own life. Over the past 6 months, I’ve repaired my relationship with my daughter and with my wife on more than one occasion. Whether you're the one who’s been hurt or the one who’s done the hurting, there’s a path forward—and it starts with humility, empathy, and a willingness to grow. What I’ve found is that in order to move forward, we have to learn how to shift from blame to responsibility, how to truly listen to someone else’s pain without defensiveness, and why forgiveness—both for yourself and others—is essential to healing. This isn’t about quick fixes or pretending everything is okay. It’s about doing the hard but meaningful work of showing up with love, honesty, and vulnerability to restore the relationships that matter most in your life. KEY TAKEAWAYS Why healing a broken relationship starts with taking 100% responsibility The importance of listening without judgment—even if it’s uncomfortable Forgivingness can be difficult, but liberating yourself from anger is much healthier You can’t force or rush the healing process or rebuild trust. It takes time Practical steps to begin the healing process, even if the other person isn’t ready. 580: The Power of Prayer - It's Not What You Think
Today we’re exploring the age-old question—Does prayer actually work? Is prayer effective… or pointless? Have you ever prayed and felt like no one was listening? Or perhaps you don't pray because you don’t believe it’s effective. Or maybe you've tried praying before, but your prayers haven't been answered, so you’re skeptical at best. Whether you're someone who prays frequently or not at all, I promise that this episode has value for everyone on both sides of the coin. Today, I'm exploring one of the most personal and profound topics I've ever covered: the power of prayer. But not just in the traditional sense. I’m talking about it from a scientific, emotional, and spiritual perspective. Whether you're deeply religious, spiritually curious, or a flat-out skeptic, this is an invitation to listen with an open mind. You’ll hear me reference two studies from Harvard and Duke that show how prayer affects your brain, body, and emotional well-being—even if you don't believe in a higher power. I also open up about powerful, specific moments in my own life when prayer produced results I can't explain, from healing my body after a near-fatal accident to receiving life-changing blessings at just the right moment. And finally, I just want to say that this episode isn't about preaching or converting you—it's about expanding your understanding of prayer as a tool for peace, purpose, and transformation. Enjoy! KEY TAKEAWAYS The scientific evidence that those who pray often enjoy improved overall well-being Four types of prayer and how to practice each one (even if you’re not religious) How I used prayer to heal, gain clarity, and overcome impossible odds Why unanswered prayers might be some of life’s greatest gifts A simple daily prayer practice you can start today—no experience required Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review. 578: Why I Stopped Being Vegan - The Nutritional Perspective

578: Why I Stopped Being Vegan - The Nutritional Perspective
For over a decade, I ate a "mostly" organic vegan diet and believed that I was fueling my body with the most nutritious food available. I say mostly because I didn't believe in inconveniencing people to accommodate my dietary preferences, so I was pretty flexible when other people were involved. However, I experienced some health challenges including low energy and brain fog, and I realized that there were some vital nutrients that I was deficient in, which were missing from my vegan diet. Although I could supplement them, I wondered why they weren't prevalent in what I thought was the diet nature intended. That’s when I started questioning everything I thought I knew about nutrition. In today’s episode, I’m sharing my journey of transitioning from vegan to a more balanced diet loaded with organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fats, as well as local pasture-raised, ethically sourced meats and eggs. To be clear, this is NOT to convince you to change your diet but rather to encourage you to consider what our bodies truly need to thrive. This episode isn’t meant to be preachy. There’s no one-size-fits-all diet. It’s about listening to your body, questioning nutritional norms, and making informed decisions so that your diet contributes to optimizing your energy and lifespan. KEY TAKEAWAYS The role of vitamin B12 and why its absence in plant foods made me rethink my diet The challenges of getting key nutrients like iron, protein, and vitamins from a vegan diet How human history and evolution explain why meat has been a dietary staple Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all. 574: How AI and Technology Are Making Us Dumber
Are you starting to wonder about how much AI and technology is helping us or harming us? Most of us have smartphones in our pockets and rely on digital tools for almost everything. But beyond that, are we replacing a higher intelligence or even our relationship with God with artificial intelligence? It’s a big topic, so let’s talk about it. In today’s episode, I’m diving deep into a question that’s been on my mind lately: How are AI and technology fundamentally changing us? I’m not trying to ring alarm bells about the potential harms of technology. I want to help you build a healthier relationship with it—one that enhances your life instead of diminishing your mental and spiritual well-being. We’ll explore how our increasing reliance on digital tools might weaken our cognitive abilities—our memory, critical thinking, and creativity. More importantly, I’ll share insights into how technology might shape our spirituality, subtly replacing our reliance on intuition, prayer, and deep reflection with quick, convenient answers from artificial intelligence. P.S. I’m also encouraging everyone to take the 30-Day "Less Tech, More God" Challenge. This is a simple but powerful way to reclaim your focus, reconnect with yourself, and realign with what truly matters.
