IN BED WITH A SEX COACH
Having sex with someone new can be a potentially stressful situation. “How do I measure up with their other partners?” “What do they think of my body?” “Am I pleasing them?” Now, imagine you’re in bed with a professional SEX COACH whose job is to teach people how to enjoy the most fulfilling sex and pleasure possible. That is A LOT of pressure. For you…and them. On this episode I speak with Wendy Perkins, a trauma-informed orgasm, and neuro-pleasure coach. An author and sought-after expert who’s been featured in , Wendy hacked her own ADHD, and now helps people discover unique pathways to take ownership of their pleasure. Oh yeah… she’s also single and dating. As you could imagine, when potential sex partners find out she’s an orgasm and pleasure coach…well, the reactions she gets are pretty surprising. Wendy reveals how male potential sex partners typically fall into one of three categories when they learn about her job. Female potential sex partners have a completely different reaction. Plus, there are the folks who flat-out expect a free sex masterclass every time she gets in bed with them. Yeah not so much. She also shares pro tips on how to “guide” a partner in bed without making it seem like a lesson, and the best thing to say to get out of a night of terrible sex. There’s a lot to be gained from this fun conversation. Wendy Perkins can be reached for private coaching and more at and can be found online @owningyouro. GETTING NAKED FOR "WEIRD AL" YANKOVIC
Amish Paradise. Eat It. Like A Surgeon. I Love Rocky Road. Smells Like Nirvana. I Lost On Jeopardy. White & Nerdy… Since the early 80s, has been churning out hit song parodies, some more enduring than the original songs that inspired them. An unapologetic nerd and proud outsider, his songs are not just commentaries on pop culture, they’re also full of references to Star Wars, comic books and lunch meats. But there’s something about the “King Of The Nerds” that speaks directly to his army of die-hard fans: It’s 100% cool to be yourself, especially if you’re weird. One of the outsiders Weird Al inspired is Pickles Kintaro, a burlesque dancer in San Francisco. In this episode, Pickles reveals how, as an outsider for most of her life, Weird Al’s music absolutely validated her and empowered her to accept herself and then completely celebrate her weirdness. With nothing but a butter churn stripper pole, and a dream, Pickles gathered a team of misfit burlesque dancers with a shared mission. They called themselves, . And a legend was born. Okay, maybe not a legend but a lot of really hilarious shows. Thanks to Weird Al’s legions of fans and an Instagram shout out from the King of the Nerds himself, the burlesque show was a hit from the jump. Then they caught the eyes of filmmakers who decided to produce a documentary all about it. The film is called , and as of this writing it’s currently the second most popular documentary product on Kickstarter. Please support this fantastic film and its lovely filmmakers . Will “Tight and Nerdy” faithfully continue their naked tribute to Weird Al? Or are they hanging up their bologna? This question and so much more will be addressed in this very fun and revealing interview. 100,000 DOWNLOADS, BITCHES! This episode marks the 4th anniversary of Sex Ed The Musical. I’m so excited that we’ve had over 100,000 downloads. This season I’ll be dedicating myself to stories about people who are having fun while naked…which isn’t always that easy. RE/INVENTED EMILY SINCLAIR

RE/INVENTED EMILY SINCLAIR
“Follow your bliss and don't be afraid. Doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.” — Imagine you’ve produced some of the biggest hit shows in television. You’ve won accolades and prestigious, pointy awards for your work. You’re at the top of your game and everyone wants to hire you. Yet, you’re totally miserable. Not so hard to believe, really. In this Re/Invented interview I speak with Emily Sinclair. An executive producer at the top of the TV game, Emily had it all. Executive Producing fancy shows…constant work…big money…someone always handing you coffee the second you want it…life at the top of the TV industry can be very seductive. On the surface. But Emily Sinclair had other priorities and instead of being an MVP, she was secretly more interested in the MLS. So, she walked away from the top of the TV industry and found a new home in real estate. And she’s never been happier. Tons of us are toiling away in careers we secretly hate. Worried that our colleagues might judge us for leaving. Fearful that walking away will be the biggest mistake imaginable. Well, you only get one life so you can spend it miserable and worried about what everyone else is thinking of you (they’re not). Or you can follow YOUR bliss and do that thing you truly, madly, deeply want to do. As Lucille Ball once said, “I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.” And you know what, Lucy’s risks led to a pretty fucking awesome life. In this conversation, you’ll discover how Emily Sinclair realized she was miserable. How she worked through her fears of walking away from a big career, to work for no money at all. How she dealt with worries over her family, friends and colleagues judging her. Advice for anyone else who’s spending all day miserable instead of taking a big chance…on themself. INTERVIEW SELECTS: 2:08 Women working in TV basically age in dog years. And there aren’t a lot of women in their 50s hanging around the craft service table. Trust me. 9:33 I was like, ugh, the world doesn’t need another fucking Realtor. And one of my friends said, “The world needs a good Realtor.” 10:23 I was looking for this kind of home and I found it in real estate. 10:58 There’s always someone younger, thinner, and hotter, whatever. There was always someone younger than me who didn’t have kids and was fine with traveling 6-9 months out of the year. And I became that annoying producer who was like, “I really need to be home.” 11:23 I felt like the universe was absolutely just guiding me. 12:11 I felt for sure that people were going to think I was a failure. And there’s sort of a Stockholm Syndrome that comes with being in entertainment. They beat you up, they make you feel like shit. And the moment you do something good, you’re the best thing ever. 12:26 I remembered feeling like, I never want to quit cause I’m not a quitter. I want to hold on as long as I possibly can! 13:15 I watched (my dad) fail so many times I was like, I’m not gonna let go of television! 13:57 I was really concerned that people were going to say, She failed! She couldn’t hack it! She didn’t make it. Like all that sort of mean girls stuff. And what I found instead was people would reach out to me and be like, oh my god, I love what you’re doing. 17:04 When I closed my first deal, it was truly like giving birth to a three headed cyclops. 17:38 I remember getting in my car and I broke into tears, cause I was so happy. Cause I was changing these peoples’ lives. 18:18 I have agency over my life. I decide when and where I work. I decide which clients I want to work with, and I have absolutely fired clients before. I never feel abused now. 19:57 If I could go back in time, and be with myself once again, I would say, “Honey, you are worth so much more than this shit.” 21:26 Don’t worry about the money. It’s gonna fill your soul for the next 20 years or whatever. People get so caught up in the money. Trust me when I say an Emmy Award-winning TV producer knows all of the secrets to making your house look spectacular. If you’re buying, selling or just buy-curious (hehehe), here’s how you can contact Emily Sinclair: Don’t forget to purchase my book, , a #1 new release on Amazon. WHEN YOUR SEXUAL FANTASY COMES TRUE
05/05/2022
WHEN YOUR SEXUAL FANTASY COMES TRUE
fan·ta·sy /ˈfan(t)əsē/ noun Imagination, especially when extravagant and unrestrained. Often impossible or improbable. It's a fact. We all have fantasies. From scoring the game-winning touchdown, to winning an Academy Award, to destroying the drum kit in your next door neighbor’s garage with a sledge hammer. I’m speaking hypothetically, of course. Fantasies are a healthy and normal part of the human experience. Within the vast array of fantasies, you’ll also find Sexual Fantasies. Their main purpose is to turn us on. But what happens if one of them actually comes true? They say you should never meet your heroes because there’s a good chance they won’t possibly live up to your expectations. I get that. Is it the same for sexual fantasies? Are they better kept in the imagination? What if you had the chance to make your biggest sexual fantasy come true in a perfectly safe and consensual way? A sexual fantasy you’ve been dreaming about as long as you can remember. Would you do it? My guest this week was given the opportunity to make her biggest sexual fantasy come true. Instead of overthinking or being fearful that it or even she might not live up to her expectations, she simply said, “Let’s do this!” That split-second decision changed her entire life. You’re about to meet a woman who emailed me and said she got the chance to live out her life-long sexual fantasy. She wanted to share her story with me on my podcast. After I determined this was an actual person, and a very funny and charming one at that, I was all in. “Let’s do this!” This has to be one of my favorite interviews of all time. And within all of the life-changing lessons she learned in this one fateful night, there’s a lot of takeaway: Why is authenticity the ultimate aphrodisiac? What’s the one trait all happy couples share? Why did someone bring nachos to a sex party? You’re going to get all of these answers and a whole lot more in this very fun, candid and inspirational conversation I had with a total stranger…who’s no stranger to happiness. UNDER COVERS "THE SEX COACH"
Welcome back you sickening bitches! (sorry…I’ve been watching a lot of ) Sooooo, after going Under Covers with a few fellas, I figured I’d flip the script and in this episode speak to a professional in the world of sex. A Sex Coach, to be exact. Okay, what’s a Sex Coach? Great question, thank you for asking. According to the folks at , Sex Coaching is not is not sex therapy. (Sex Coaches) focus on the present and the future, helping clients move towards what they want to achieve. Sex coaching typically takes place over a shorter time frame than sex therapy. Sex coaches are not sex workers. Most sex coaches will work “talk-only” with clients and sex coaches do not offer erotic services. In this Under Covers conversation, find out how a childhood with hippie parents shaped the sex coach. How her early sexual experiences and freedom created a natural transition to helping others with their own sex lives. We go into her experiences with kink, role playing and all sorts of private places…with full consent, as always. Wherever you are on your journey, remember that there are trained professionals out there who can guide you. Most of us have been raised with a lot of shame and trauma when it comes to sex and sometimes you need someone uniquely trained to help you understand that, unpack it and then kick that shit to the curb. There's never any shame in asking for help. In other news, I think my semi-sabbatical has come to an end. I’m going to be releasing shows with much more regularity now. I appreciate your patience and for you listening and following the show. Thank you, thank you, thank you. UNDER COVERS -- FOREST

UNDER COVERS -- FOREST
This week’s conversation is with a male, who spent his first 24 years as a female. Not exactly by choice. As Forest says on his website, “Growing up as a doubly closeted gay boy in the Midwest, I cultivated a vivid world inside my head where I felt safe and free. Eventually, I would have to come out of hiding no matter how scary it felt. I realized the fear was never going to disappear, but I felt like I was starting to disappear after so many years of keeping parts of myself boxed in.” For the first 24 years of his life, Forest didn’t have the language to articulate his experience and was unable to identify himself as transgender. Feeling uncomfortable in his own body, Forest went on an incredible journey to discover his truth. Now that he has, he’s helping others find their way as well. A self-described empathic, spiritual, queer, trans, kinky, white boy with a vulva, Forest knows a thing or two about authenticity and pleasure. Which is why I really loved going Under Covers with him this week. He’s also the first person I’ve interviewed Under Covers that requested his identity not be hidden. This is because he’s on a mission to help others with his work. He continues… “Healing my relationship with my body, my gender and my sexuality has been at the center of my journey. Abuse has become so normalized in society that sometimes it becomes difficult to notice we are feeling disconnected from ourselves, our needs, our wants, our joy, our pleasure, our senses. It is no accident that people who are not cis white straight men often feel shame around their body and sexuality.” Forest feels called on to share everything he’s learned and to guide folks on their own paths inward. Healing is at the center of his work and regardless of where you are on the gender spectrum, there’s a lot of information and inspiration to be gained from this conversation. For relationship resources and more, please visit Forest’s website Or you can email him at Now…for this conversation, all you need to know is that Forest practices solo polyamory, is a writer, visionary and spiritual slut. UNDER COVERS -- MY 7th GRADE BOYFRIEND
01/20/2022
UNDER COVERS -- MY 7th GRADE BOYFRIEND
7th grade. It’s a boy/girl party in my best friend’s basement. There are about 10 of us there. Rumors by Fleetwood Mac, is playing non-stop on the record player. The lights are low. The air is filled with equal parts anticipation and terror. Someone suggests we play a game called 7 Minutes in Heaven. The voice you’re about to hear belongs to someone who was also at that party. We eventually lost touch with each other when I moved to the big city in 8th grade, but we recently reconnected. When I asked him if he’d be interested in being interviewed as part of the Under Covers series he graciously agreed. I have no nostalgia for my middle school years. I always felt like a misfit and a weirdo back then. Probably because I was a misfit and a weirdo back then. I never had the right clothes or the right shoes or the right anything. I was frequently bullied and take joy in knowing that my biggest bully married into what’s been described as an extremist religious cult. She is now is required to wear a wig and obey her husband at all times. Meanwhile, I do whatever the fuck I want and eat all the bacon I desire. Bwahahahaha! Yep, I’m a little triggered by all of this episode but the truth is, this episode ain’t about me. Three years ago on this podcast, I began asking women I’d never met a series of questions about the most intimate details of their lives. I called the interviews Under Covers and you can find all of them here. All of the women were asked identical questions about their sexual awakenings, sex education, partners, early experiences and long term relationships, with the hope that my listeners could find healing in discovering how much we all share. This season, I’ve flipped the script. I’m taking the exact questions I asked women, and I’m asking them to men. Last week I interviewed “David.” A married, gay man, his answers to my questions were incredibly honest, revealing and often hilarious. In this Under Covers episode I speak with someone I’m calling “Josh.” All you need to know is that “Josh” has been divorced twice, identifies as very heterosexual, and once spent 7 Minutes in Heaven with me in my best friend’s basement. That’s where all similarities end…or begin. If you’d like a custom autographed copy of my book, , but you can’t attend a book-signing in person, and I’ll snail mail you a signed bookplate you can affix to your copy. UNDER COVERS -- "DAVID"
Three years ago on this podcast, I began asking women of different ages, sexual identities and socioeconomic backgrounds a series of questions about the most intimate details of their lives. I called the interviews Under Covers. All of the women were asked the same questions about their sexual awakenings, different partners, early experiences and relationships, with the hope that we could find healing in discovering how much we all share. Well this season, I’ve decided to flip the script. I’m taking the exact questions I asked women, and I’m asking them to men. In this first Under Covers with a man, I speak with a guy I’ve named David. That’s not his real name, every one of these interviews is completely anonymous. All you need to know is that David is 51, married and identifies as gay. That’s where all similarities end…or begin. LINKS are some stills from Angels In Chains. The Paley Center on For all things Charlie's Angels, check out , run by my pal Mike Pingel, THE Charlie’s Angels authority. David’s mega-hot sexual golden ticket Dayum! POLE DANCING IN A HIJAB
“This is the best way for me to be seen. How I want to be seen. And that is as a Muslim woman.” When nurse practitioner Neda walked into a pole dancing class while wearing a hijab, she had no agenda. A life-long athlete, she had purchased a and decided to use it to learn some “ho stuff” from “a bunch of strippers.” However, she learned a lot more than just some “ho stuff,” and by the end of her first class, she was hooked to the pole. Now with nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram, @hijabluscious is a study in sharp contrasts. Despite the fact that in much of the western world, a hijab is often interpreted as a symbol of Muslim women’s oppression, she proudly rocks her head and neck covering while pulling off some dope shit on the pole. “I had people trying to share my videos out of contempt. Trying to harass me. All that did was give me more attention.” Due to the many pole dancing videos she’s shared, Neda has received all sorts of angry threats and accusations. While at the same time, she’s inspired thousands who would previously never consider pole dancing at all. Plus, she’s kind of famous! On this episode, we talk about how members of the pole dancing community first reacted to her when she walked into the studio, what the early reactions were when she started posting videos, and how she achieves balance both on and off the pole. @HIJABLUSCIOUS LINKS IG - POLE DANCING WITH THE TRY GUYS (VIDEO, NEARLY 2 MILLION VIEWS) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jelxsmzI71s MUSLIM GIRL INTERVIEW - AMALIAH.COM INTERVIEW - MUSLIM MAMAS INTERVIEW - If you’d like a custom autographed copy of my book, , but you can’t attend a book-signing in person, and I’ll snail mail you a signed bookplate you can affix to your copy. HOW TO SEDUCE YOURSELF

HOW TO SEDUCE YOURSELF
Imagine you had the perfect partner. Someone who constantly saw to your needs. Put you first. Gave you whatever you wanted whenever you wanted it. Treated you with respect, tenderness and unconditional love at all times. Sounds pretty amazing, huh? Well, it turns out this relationship is possible. That very person is right within reach. Closer than you’d ever imagine. That person is YOU. On this episode, I lead you to a partner who gives you the ultimate in acceptance, pampering, seduction and satisfaction. At the center of it all is trust. Trusting yourself. Most of us have been socialized to put ourselves last. To be responsible for everyone else’s feelings and needs — even if they’re not aligned with our own. Well, it’s time to put that bullshit in the rear view mirror and learn how to seduce and satisfy yourself. All of this is not necessarily groundbreaking, but thanks to Complexity Bias we often discredit the simplest things in life, even though they often work the best. This week, I’m showing you just how easy it is to seduce yourself. You’re welcome. LATER IN LIFE LESBIANS

LATER IN LIFE LESBIANS
Cynthia Nixon. Meredith Baxter. Niecy Nash. Cassandra Peterson/Elvira. Elizabeth Gilbert. Glennon Doyle. Carol Liefer. Wanda Sykes. What do the incredibly accomplished and talented women on this list all have in common? They all dated and/or married men…until later in life when they all fell in love with other woman. Often to their own surprise. Known as Later in Life Lesbians, these women discovered an entirely new level of intimacy, happiness and sexual satisfaction, with members of the same sex. It should be no surprise. In a recent study, 95% of heterosexual men said they reached orgasm when being sexually intimate. How many hetero women had orgasms with their male partners? 65%. Read that again. 95% of straight men had orgasms. 65% of straight women. In comparison, the orgasm rate for lesbians was 86%. Not that I even need to explain this, but the women who reported more orgasms were recipients of more oral sex. Because, of course. Men, I’ve been saying this for years. You are the next . What is driving so many women to switch teams later in life? Is this part of a much bigger trend? Is this all a backlash because so many straight women are sexually dissatisfied due to their male partners? Is this all about the dishwasher? Whatever the case may be, sexuality is lot more fluid than many realize. To get some answers, I speak with Coming Out Coach, . An author, and herself, a later in life lesbian, she provides one-on-one and group coaching to women coming out later in life. Her memoir tells the story of her chaotic childhood, challenging marriage, sexual awakening, and recreating her life after 50. We talk about the growing phenomenon of women becoming lesbians later in life. The not-so surprising reasons behind their decisions. And then she gives me her Are You Secretly a Lesbian test. It was an oral exam, natch. No matter where you are on your journey, there’s a good chance you’ve made many life choices for reasons you don’t even realize. A lot of people stay in unsuccessful relationships for all sorts of reasons. It can be challenging to understand a brand new attraction or perhaps feelings you’ve kept suppressed for years. But, remember, life is short. You deserve all of the happiness and consensual pleasure you desire. SHAMING SLUT SHAMING

SHAMING SLUT SHAMING
Slut. Whore. Trollop. Skank. Nympho. THAT kind of girl. Have you ever noticed how many words there are for judging women who enjoy sex? Now let’s consider some of the words for men who enjoy sex. Gigolo. Stud. Casanova. Player. Ladies’ man. Wait a second! All of those are compliments! That’s weird. No, it’s actually quite deliberate. In fact, if you want to insult a man who likes sex, you have to call him a man whore or a man slut. That’s right, you have to call him a name that is reserved for demeaning women. On this episode, I read an excerpt from my new book, . The chapter, entitled, Choose Your Words Wisely, addresses how the language often used for women who openly enjoy sex or celebrate their sexuality, is nothing more than an attack on our autonomy. It’s also rooted in patriarchal expectations of women and a way to keep us at odds with each other. This is completely calculated because infighting among the oppressed is what keeps us oppressed. So, in this episode I unpack the reasons why you might be thinking that sex and pleasure are not for you. Spoiler Alert: We’ve been brainwashed throughout history to think this way. The truth is, you have every right to sexual pleasure and one way to allow more of said pleasure into your life is to deprogram yourself. That’s a big part of my book and also my work with other women who want to stop leaving so much pleasure on the table. Speaking of my work, thanks to our friendly global pandemic it’s been almost two years since I’ve been able to speak before a live audience. I’ve missed you motherfuckers! Last week, one of my listeners collaborated with the fine folks at in Walla Walla, Washington and I hopped on a plane (actually 2 planes) to Walla Walla for a really fun meet and greet with my readers. Before the book signing we had a really fun Q&A about sex and pleasure. Did I mention there was a lot of amazing wine on hand? Yeah, that didn’t hurt. Anyway, this event made me realize just how much I miss meeting my readers and listeners face to face, so I came up with the single greatest or possibly most disastrous idea ever — which is why I’m all about it. If you have a book club and you and your friendies choose my book, I’ll Zoom in, say hello and we can have a fun Q&A. (Wine or no wine is up to you). We’ll keep it fun and light but it’s a great way for me to say hello and get to know to the folks who are reading and enjoying my book. Is that you? It is!?! Well then let’s talk, sister! and I’ll Zoom into your book club for some fun. Some restrictions apply…I just haven’t figured them out yet. The excerpt I read in this episode is also available on . STOP SABOTAGING YOUR SEX LIFE -- WITH VERONICA GRANT

STOP SABOTAGING YOUR SEX LIFE -- WITH VERONICA GRANT
I can certainly see why you might assume my life is a non-stop, swinging, suburban bacchanal. Unfortunately it’s a lot less groovy than you’d imagine. Sure I can be found at the occasional sex party. However, while most folks are there for NSA, consensual hook ups, I’m likely being overwhelmed by bad flooring. That’s because I have a problem. I’m a serial remodeler. As a result, I’m totally addicted to home improvement and real estate shows. I watch hours and hours of kindly Canadian contractors, stressed-out house flippers, kitchen and bathroom rescues, and . If I’m being totally honest, it’s really more of a love/hate relationship. I love the shows but I hate the insane needs they invent for said hunters. “We need 11 bedrooms, 10+ acres, must be walking distance to city center, with a 360 degree mountain view, spa bathroom, spa living room, spa crawl space, zero-gravity sneaker closet, cat washing room, 35 car rooftop garage in an Open-Concept-Victorian-Tudor-Mid-Century-Modern-Farmhouse-Turnkey-Fixer. Our budget is up to $45,000.” Cut To: Me yelling at the TV. But the other day as I was hate watching, I started to wonder if some of us apply these same insanely picky standards to other aspects of life. Specifically dating. If you look at how you're searching for a partner through the prism of house hunting, are your superficial requirements pricing you out of the market? Yes, you should always have high standards. I’m simply suggesting that in order to find true love, some folks might need a little emotional remodeling. And that’s where this week’s guest, , comes in. Veronica Grant is a Love + Life Coach, host of the , and creator of the Deep Work Deep Love Course suite. Veronica’s work has been featured in O the Oprah Magazine, Bustle, Your Tango, and countless podcasts. As someone who struggled in love herself and was tired of unsolicited and usually patronizing dating advice (even if well-meaning), she created the resources she wished were available before she met her husband. She’s here with great advice on how to shake up how you find love. We talk about the surprising forces behind bad decision-making. How to recognize if you’re assigning happiness to the wrong things. Plus, the one part of your body that never, ever lies. Oh yeah, she’s also obsessed with home improvement and house hunting shows so we have a lot of fun with this one. HOW TO FIX MEN -- WITH TRAVER BOEHM

HOW TO FIX MEN -- WITH TRAVER BOEHM
The standards of masculinity are not exactly clear. On one end of the spectrum, you have the guy driving a Prius who’s in touch with his feelings, does yoga, drinks kombucha, has tons of female friends and rejects all forms of violence. On the other end, you have the guy driving a giant pick up truck who’s addicted to violence, porn, hating women, dominating men, and who rejects anything perceived as “feminine” such as admitting any kind of weakness or asking for help. There has to be a middle ground. Perhaps a dude in a BMW addicted to violent yoga? I don’t know. But it’s clear that with the rise of the #MeToo movement, rampant sexual violence and addiction, the normalization of misogynistic hate groups and the fact that an entire generation of young men are now being vastly outnumbered by women in college admissions, men are at a crisis point. Can men be fixed? This week’s guest, Traver Boehm believes they can. And he’s just the guy to do it. How they think, what’s behind their behavior, and most importantly — their unique challenges in today’s evolving landscape. Traver is the the founder of the , the author of as well as a two time TEDx speaker, and . Traver believes that many men are suffering from unprocessed trauma, more often than not, inflicted by other men. Of course, as one of millions of women who’ve had to endure unchecked male privilege, nauseating mansplaining, being paid less than male colleagues for the same work, sexual impropriety, walking through parking lots with keys laced through my fingers, being completely diminished, ignored, and charged more for just about everything, I have a somewhat difficult time feeling sorry for the apex predator. On the other hand, I honestly like men and I think it would benefit everyone if the broken ones seriously got their shit together. This is will not be an easy conversation for some of you to hear. If I somehow offend you with my feminist point of view, please know that I don’t fucking care. (See list of justifiable complaints above). MAKE FAILURE YOUR FUEL
“Make failure your fuel.” —Abby Wambach About 4 years ago, after I left Playboy, I was feeling completely directionless in my career. Overnight all of my structure, value and access to unlimited free lube had vanished. I had not vision for my future. Looking for some next-level guidance, I reached out to a Shaman I had met a few months earlier at a retreat. She point blank asked me, "Exactly what is it you want to do?" Without even thinking I replied, "I want to help women and laugh all day." She looked at me softly in this very knowing way and said, "Then do that." Uhhh… So, I did exactly that. As you’re about to hear in this episode, this is a story of almost having everything, then losing almost everything, then finding a whole new success powered by a world renown soccer player and a litany of complete indifference. That might be the worst logline ever. Or the best. Just listen to this very special episode and all of it will make perfect sense. Here’s the link to . Here’s the link to . DATING OVER 50 - WITH MARI WEISS - FAN FAVORITE
Welcome Back! Yep, I’ve taken a few weeks off this summer to release my first book, which, I am thrilled to announce is a… A Top 100 Book on Amazon and the #1 NEW RELEASE IN SEXUAL HEALTH! I wrote this book because I realized that millions of people are caught up in toxic relationship overthinking. They’re constantly repeating the same mistakes and bad decisions with no idea how to change this behavior. In my work as a Sexologist and the creator of premium, sex-positive programming, I’ve discovered if you really want to have a happy and healthy relationship, you only need to do 3 things. And one of the things has nothing to do with your partner at all! Once you put my 3 Secrets into play, a lifetime of love, happiness and fun can follow. is a completely clear and candid roadmap to relationship success, offering ADVANCED SEX TIPS, TOYS, and ROMANTIC ADVENTURES that will turn you into a Stealth Superfreak. Plus, IRRESISTIBLE AND SIMPLE RECIPES designed to set the table for romance. In addition, the book features an entire section specifically designed to empower women to become the AUTHENTIC, SHAMELESS, POWERFUL, SELF-LOVING, EPIC BADASSES they’ve always wanted to be. Whether you've been with a partner for years or you're currently single, this is the last relationship book you'll ever need. Oh and fellas…trust me when I tell you that this book is THE PERFECT GIFT for your female partner. Trust. Me. Now, I’m super thrilled to be sharing the most downloaded episode from the past season. I know it resonated with a lot of you. I found a funny quote the other day. It says… “Dating after 30 is easy. It’s like riding a bike. Only the bike is on fire. And the ground is on fire. Everything is on fire. Because you are in hell.” Okay. Now imagine dating after 50! On this week’s show, I interview actress, voice artist and my good pal, . Mari was on the podcast nearly two years ago in an episode called . She shared an amazing story about dating a guy who slowly-yet-firmly led her into the world of BDSM. Her first surprise was how willing she was to obey him. Her second surprise was how much she enjoyed it. Before and since then, Mari, like many other single folks, has gone on more than her share of dates. But unlike the days when you’re 25 and sprucing yourself up to no end in order to meet some grown man in a baseball cap, when you’re 50+ you have a lot more perspective on life. You’re also probably not so interested in putting up with anyone’s bullshit. We talk about what causes women, particularly, to constantly set our own feelings aside and put up with people who are clearly unkind and/or unworthy of us. And why it’s a radical idea to enjoy being single and child free. Which, according to science, is for women. I also touch on losing my best friend and how I traveled to Chicago to scatter her ashes in a sacred temple I will not be naming. Let’s just say, all of its followers are true blue. DAVE NOLL -- WHY GETTING CHOPPED IS GOOD
Imagine if your job is selling a product that is likely be rejected by 29 out of 30 buyers. Those are terrible odds. Well if you’re a TV producer trying to sell new shows, that’s a pretty typical fail rate. On this episode I speak with Dave Noll, a wildly successful TV producer who has created, pitched and sold some of the most iconic TV shows in history, including the Food Network mega-hit franchise, . But Dave’s path to the chopping block was loaded with booby traps, ridiculous detours, and, at one point, an angry butler and a dog. I’m telling you right now, it’s a miracle any TV shows get made. In this really fun conversation, Dave shares his rocky road to the top of the TV heap and how every rejection is actually a positive thing. Plus, to keep him nervous, we play a very fun game where I test his knowledge of TV shows about sex. His answers genuinely surprise me. If you want to follow along with Dave’s amazing adventures in the crazy world of creating and selling TV shows, you can follow him on , Instagram or Twitter @davenolltv. OKAY, MY KID IS GAY -- RAINBOW REPEAT!
06/24/2021
OKAY, MY KID IS GAY -- RAINBOW REPEAT!
Earlier this week, an active player in the NFL made huge news. Carl Nassib, a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders . As of this writing, he is the only openly gay active NFL player. Hopefully, he won’t be alone for long. “Carl Nassib’s powerful coming out is a historic reflection of the growing state of LGBTQ visibility and inclusion in the world of professional sports, which has been driven by a long list of brave LGBTQ athletes who came before him,” said GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. “As an accomplished athlete who is now the first out gay active player in the NFL, Carl Nassib’s story will not only have a profound impact on the future of LGBTQ visibility and acceptance in sports, but sends a strong message to so many LGBTQ people, especially youth, that they too can one day grow up to be and succeed as a professional athlete like him.” Representation matters. But for every massive step forward, there remain hundreds of steps backwards. According the , “2021 has officially surpassed 2015 as the worst year for anti-LGBTQ legislation in recent history.” The HRC reports that more than 250 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in state legislatures in 2021, including at least 35 bills that would prohibit transgender youth from being able to access age-appropriate, gender-affirming medical care. So when a badass defensive end for the Raiders, of all teams, comes out as gay and then makes a $100,000 donation to , make no mistake, it’s a big fucking deal. Okay, but what does this have to do with my life? Well… Let’s imagine you’re sitting down with your 10 year-old for a dinner of mac and cheese, chicken nuggets and grapes. All on separate plates, of course. On the table there’s a box of spilled apple juice, a few Snoopy stickers and several dried out markers. Soccer gear is strewn on the floor alongside a few of this morning’s Cheerios and a naked Barbie missing half of her hair. It’s just another day. Until your kid turns to you and says, “Mom, I think I’m a lesbian.” How would you react in that moment? For many parents this is a moment they never saw coming, but it got there. Fast. What should you say? What shouldn’t you say? Were you completely surprised? Have you always known but never really accepted it? How do you hear this and let your child know that they’re safe and loved and what they’re feeling is perfectly okay? It’s a situation that millions of parents have faced. And thanks to increasing positive role models and representation, the average age of children coming out has dropped from their early 20s to anywhere between 14 and 16. Parents shouldn’t just assume their children are straight until proven otherwise. Even if your kid has a different identity in two years or two months, it’s important to support how they feel today. But where do you start? On this episode, a repeat of one of my most downloaded episodes, I speak with Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Childhood Mental Health Specialist, Melody Murray . She reveals the struggles that children of all backgrounds must navigate and gives parents tools to help their children know that they’re loved, supported and safe regardless of sexual orientation. I also speak with a friend whose 13 year-old daughter decided to come out during a family vacation. Blindsided, the mother responded in the best way she could. How you respond to your child’s coming out can be what keeps your kid alive. I’ve also found several very helpful resources for parents of LGBT kids: I also recommend the book: Being gay is not a crime and it’s not a sin. Some people believe that having an LGBTQ child means they somehow failed as a parent. Disowning your child means you failed as a parent. I think most experts will agree that the best thing you can say to your child when they come out is: I Love You. That is the perfect place to start.

THE LOWDOWN ON THE DOWN LOW
06/11/2021
THE LOWDOWN ON THE DOWN LOW
There are lots of men. Straight men who are often married with children. Navy SEALs, football players, construction workers, lawyers, doctors, mechanics, factory workers — you name it. Just regular guys…who happen to prefer to have sex with other guys. Are they gay? Not if you ask them. Sexual identity is complex. On this show I speak with The Straight Guy Whisperer, a gay man whose sexual partners are almost exclusively straight, married men. We talk about why these men reach out to him, what they’re really looking for, and the surprising reasons a gay man can be the safest partner for a straight guy. The Straight Guy Whisperer might sound familiar to my regular listeners. He’s the expert in my SECOND MOST POPULAR EPISODE OF ALL TIME: . This guy knows his way around another man and the fact that he almost exclusively hooks up with straight guys should tell you that he understands their pleasure on a level many women do not. At least not yet, anyway. Are these straight guys really closet homosexuals or bisexual? Can you exclusively have sex with someone of the same sex but still be 100% straight? A lot of that has to do with how you personally identify and what that really means. After all, at its core, your sexual identity is a label that you use to help others categorize you. As Toni Morrison famously said, “Definitions belong to the definers, not the defined.” Regardless, we can all get caught up in labels and panic and fear when it comes to sexual identity. THE SWINGING SINGLE GIRL
06/04/2021
THE SWINGING SINGLE GIRL
Imagine one day you’re heartbroken, alone, and then to make matters worse, totally rejected by some random stranger in a seedy basement sex shop in New York. But within a few years, you are transformed into the most desirable woman in the room. This amazing metamorphosis really happened, and you’re about to find out how. On this week’s podcast, I speak to the Swinging Single Girl. We follow her story as she transforms from a brokenhearted reject into the most coveted person in a room full of sexy people. This is exactly the kind of evolution that can happen when you believe in yourself, embrace a life of adventure, and are completely open to the world's most interesting possibilities. You’ll learn what it’s like to completely reinvent yourself in the swinging lifestyle, important lessons about setting boundaries both sexual and personal, and understanding the difference between love and just random sex with your friends…things we can all benefit from mastering. Whether or not you’re interested in becoming part of this lifestyle, it doesn’t matter. Having spent five seasons on the set of the hit reality show on Playboy TV, working alongside and then befriending many people in the lifestyle, I learned incredible lessons about my own closed-mindedness, why I was so defiantly boring, and that BBC doesn’t always stand for the British Broadcasting Corporation. You’ll have to trust me on that one. One of many topless women to have hugged me while I was at work, The Swinging Single Girl is incredibly honest, communicative, and self-aware — one of the many benefits of being in consensually non-monogamous relationships. Even if you can’t identify with her journey and life choices, there’s an awful lot anyone can learn here. Sex Ed The Musical is available on , , , , , and more. SECRETS OF AN OPEN MARRIAGE

SECRETS OF AN OPEN MARRIAGE
Would you ever consider having an open marriage? In the Colonial Era, marriage was largely about property and procreation. Of course, back then the average life expectancy was about 36 years old. Which means, “till death do us part” wasn’t really that long of a commitment. The modern idea of marriage as being about romance, companionship and registering for new dishes at Macy’s, didn’t emerge until the last couple of centuries. As society’s goals and structure changed over time, its rules and expectations of marriage evolved along with them. Now, marriage seems to be at a brand new crossroads. revealed that remarkable transformations in relationships have occurred over the past several decades. 20% of adults have engaged in some form of consensual non-monogamy and the public’s interest in polyamory is clearly on the rise. Despite the allure of sex with numerous groovy partners with no retribution, creating a successful, ethically non-monogamous relationship has an extremely high degree of difficulty. But, if you consider that 45% of all marriages fail anyway, maybe it’s worth the risk? On this episode, I speak with The Sex Guru℠, . A clinical sexologist, and nationally recognized sex and relationship expert who’s been featured in Playboy, People and Time, she answers such questions as: How to know if you’re stable enough to open up your relationship. The best time to open up a relationship. How to start the conversation safely and ethically. How adding a new play partner can completely reinvigorate a stale relationship. Even if an open relationship isn’t for you, there’s a lot you can learn from Dr. Jones about the advanced levels of communication, honesty and understanding required to have a successful open relationship…and, actually, a traditional relationship as well. ROCKING YOUR RACK WITH JENETTE BRAS
05/21/2021
ROCKING YOUR RACK WITH JENETTE BRAS
In the early scenes of the Hitchcock masterpiece, Psycho, we see star Janet Leigh in a white bra and slip. These images were even , which was quite scandalous for 1960. However, later in the film, after Marion has unmarried sex, steals thousands of dollars and becomes a fugitive, Hitchcock presents her in a black bra to illustrate she’s now a good girl turned bad. Nothing can tell a woman’s story quite like her underwear. For ages and ages, women’s lingerie has been a subject of great fascination and fetishization. From vintage Sears catalogs to an entire pageant featuring stately models clad in lingerie and angel wings (???), some folks simply can’t get enough of ladies in their unmentionables. For many women, however, bras can also be a subject of great annoyance, shame, and abject disappointment. ESPECIALLY if you’re a “full figured girl” as movie bombshell used to say in Playtex bra commercials from the 70s and 80s. Finding foundations that fit can be challenging for more voluptuous bodies and though, to some it may seem like a high class problem, I assure you it’s much more of a high class pain in the ass. Enter . As they say on their website… "Most women blessed with a figure like ours are wearing the wrong size bra. Chances are that right now half of your boob is bulging out somewhere or other. I call it Mall Bra Syndrome. It’s a low inventory, low wage, low skill business model that just about works for gals up to a C-cup, if they’re not too picky. If you need a bigger cup you’re likely to be offered a bigger band instead. Seriously? Instead of fitting bras to our bodies, they expect our bodies to fit their limited selection of bras. Well, I come from a long line of women who are big on bosom and short on patience. So, enough already." , a working actress who appeared in numerous blockbuster films and hit TV shows, decided to do something about the difficulties of finding a perfectly-fitted bra for the “full figured gal.” So she opened Jenette Bras, where their slogan is, “The alphabet starts at D.” Since I totally qualify and was in dire need for some new foundations thanks to a 50 pound weight loss, I headed over to their brand new Burbank, CA store where, and I am not kidding, my life changed. How did my life change at a bra shop? Great question, thanks for asking. As you’re about to hear in this episode, it was thanks to a simple photo, snapped at my request, by highly trained bra fitter. For the first time in my life, I finally saw what my body really looked like. And I liked it. In this interview we cover… How Jenette convinced director James Cameron to shoot her and her plentiful rack in a very specific way How bra sizes are completely arbitrary, meaningless and stupid The importance of being professionally fitted for a bra Why spending more for a handmade bra makes a lot of sense When it’s actually okay to get a cheap bra The surprising physical trait shared by Black women and Jewish women I also get very real about my own personal struggles with body issues and trauma. This episode is about a lot more than tits, but, we all know that’s always a great place to start. Sex Ed The Musical is available on , , , , , and more. REWIRING YOURSELF TO FIND LOVE WITH STEPHANIE KWONG

REWIRING YOURSELF TO FIND LOVE WITH STEPHANIE KWONG
There’s a famous saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Yet, despite all of the red flags, when it comes to dating, some people keep making the same mistakes over and over again and keep wondering why they just can’t find the right person. On this episode, I interview Mindset Mastery coach, . Known as a secret weapon who helps people get to their next level, Stephanie uses her unique training to help her clients break through old patterns and rewire their subconscious in order to make extraordinary shifts in their lives. But what really attracted me to this story was the fact that Stephanie herself had a pattern of choosing one bad partner after another with the same disastrous results. The teacher became the student and using her own modalities she rewired her own subconscious and, finally trusting herself, found the love of her life a thousand miles away. She’s practically living in a Hallmark movie — only without the obscure Canadian actors and fake snow. So, whether you’re looking to break out of your negative dating patterns to find “the one,” or you’re interested in making a different kind of shift in your life, Stephanie is just the coach who can help you rewire your subconscious, and get out of your own way to manifest the life of your dreams with ease. Listen, Laugh, and Learn how to fall in love with the right person. CATHY LADMAN MAKES ME LAUGH

CATHY LADMAN MAKES ME LAUGH
“Our next comic is a comedienne, so please be nice…” You may have heard on the previous podcast that last week was a particularly crappy week for me. I needed some serious cheering up. So, I called in the big guns and reached out to one of the funniest people I know. As one of the country's top comedians, is a fearless, anxiety-venting performer who draws huge laughs from such taboo subjects as her battle with anorexia to the endless indignities of menopause. At the top of the comedy world for nearly 40 years, Cathy appeared nine times on The Tonight Show. that she was the only female comic to appear on the last two of Johnny’s Tonight Show Anniversary specials. She’s made numerous appearances on The Late Late Show, had her own HBO One Night Stand comedy special, and was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand Up Comic. A successful comedy writer for television, she’s also a versatile actor who has appeared in such acclaimed shows as Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, How To Get Away With Murder, Pretty Little Liars, and Modern Family to name a few. Cathy and I have a lot of fun talking about her early days in clubs, which comedy legends were big part of her nightly childhood bedtime routine, and then I give her some insider tips for turning her recent cancer treatment into a wealth of comedy material. I’m helpful that way. You can see Cathy Ladman live April 23 and 24 at the in Alameda, California. If you can’t make the live show, you can stream it any time you’d like at Check out a terrific archive of her appearances and you should definitely follow her on Twitter . I have a brand new book coming out this summer. To get a free sneak preview email me at [email protected] and I’ll send a free chapter your way! Sex Ed The Musical is available on , , , , , and more.
