Ep. 438: How to *Actually* Take Action In 3 Simple Steps
For many of us, taking action can feel like an uphill battle, even if we’re motivated or inspired. The weight of uncertainty, fear of failure, and the allure of procrastination often paralyzes our best intentions. It’s a common struggle to transform a thought into some sort of tangible action. In my own life, I have found simple steps to take that help me actually get started. What I am sharing with you today: How to take action (it’s not just about creating an attainable first step) The three steps that help us make things happen How to keep going! Got questions? Or ideas you would like me to maybe talk about here? Send me an . Or, you can always find me at tiffanyhan.com. See you next time! Tweets/Quotes: Getting prepared is actually its own starting action. If we haven't done that step, then we're trying to jump forward, and it's harder. It takes more - more strength, more initial force, more power to overcome that inertia, and then nobody wins. There are two deep breaths that are most important. Number one is the one that you take right before you do the thing, right before you take action. The second one is the one that you take after you've started because it lets you know that you survived. Envision taking the action. Seeing it is going to help you believe that it's possible.

Ep. 437: Momentum: How To Find It (and keep it!)
Something that I hear so, so often goes like this: There are so many things happening all the time and all I can do is just keep reacting. Ack. We don’t want to live like that, right? We want to work toward goals and have direction - we want lives that feel good. So how can we do that amongst all the adulting stuff that keeps popping up? Today, we’re going to talk about momentum. I’m sharing: 3 keys to momentum (and a side order of science) How boundaries and bumpers keep us moving forward Why fun and easy momentum actually works Resources from this episode: Head over there and subscribe and follow and like this episode and click the notifications button so you get a fancy little alert every time a new episode goes live. Tweets/Quotes: The beautiful thing about being on a journey is that every step of the journey teaches you more about what you need to know for the next step of the journey. One thing that you can do to prepare yourself better for potential friction is as you're thinking about momentum, as you're thinking about starting, and how to protect yourself from the outside forces, is to say when the friction shows up, here are some different things I can do. All or nothing thinking is never going to be satisfied because we can always try to have more and the opposite of more in all or nothing thinking is nothing. Not helpful. It’s an adjustment to start reshaping your goals so that they actually fit into the life that you currently have. And it's a gift.

Ep. 434: What to Do About Your Fear (And How to Move Beyond It!)
Fear. Yikes, right? Fear keeps so many of us from doing the things that we want to do in our lives. We all experience fear, but when we’re going through it, it’s easy to feel alone, and like we are the only one who get stuck in fear’s clutches. So today, let’s get into fear - specifically, the kind of fear that keeps us from taking action on the things we want to do. Let’s talk about: The relationship between fear and procrastination Why beating up our fear doesn’t work 5 steps to get through fear that is blocking your path So join me - you can read, listen or watch! Resources from this episode: 🦋 And … don’t forget to and add a butterfly to my post about this episode as part of the experiment we’re doing. Got questions? Or ideas you would like me to maybe talk about here? Send me an . Or, you can always find me at tiffanyhan.com. See you next time! Tweets/Quotes: Every time you try to fight the fear, all you end up doing is making it more powerful because you're giving it your attention, and everything you pour into it, it is going to give back to you exponentially. Part of what happens with fear is that as we take action towards whatever it is that we're building, it starts to dissipate. There is a better way forward for you, a more loving way forward, and a more sustainable way forward that is so much easier, because you are not pouring all of your energy into fighting the fear. Instead, you learn to work with it, and then on the other side, you actually have energy left to be in your life.

The moon is not for your to do list. Put it on your vision board if you want to shoot for the moon. But for your to do list - be more reasonable. Ep. 432: How to Keep Going when Doing So Feels Hard
You’ve probably heard some advice in the past about consistency, right? Maybe people have told you not to “break the chain” as you’re pursuing a creative idea. Or maybe you’ve heard not to skip even one day when you are setting up a new routine. And maybe you’ve also realized that advice like that can actually get in your way - as in, you miss one day, and figure all is now lost. So today, we’re going to talk about consistency. Listen in as we break down: What that common advice about consistency gets wrong Three mindset shifts we can make about consistency My favorite consistency hacks that will help you follow through on what you want to do So join me - you can read, listen or watch! Tweets/Quotes: This is the first mindset shift that you have to embrace about consistency: Your version of consistency does not, should not, and will not look like anybody else's consistency. You can be your own version of successful by embracing your own version of consistency. It's not a second place way of doing things. You can always add on later if you want something fancier. But if you want consistency, make what you are doing stupid simple.

Hello friends! This week, we are tackling a question straight from my Gentle Productivity Club membership. Here it is: “Do you think it's easier to be gently productive after years of working to burn out? What happens when you've been sharing your life online for 18 years, and realize one day that things aren't working? How do you step back from the internets when you're so connected to so many? Is this even allowed? In today's show, I have a candid and insightful conversation with the incredible Elise Cripe. She's been a familiar presence online for 18 years (and has been on this show multiple times), but she's decided it's time for a big shift. She's stepping back from the internet. Indefinitely. And she's talking about it here. In this conversation, we talk about: + why Elise is making this change (including a look into the money piece!) + how long it took her to go from *hungry for change* to actually making it + what she's most looking forward to, once her life-online break starts This is an in-front-of-the-change conversation that we don't normally here, especially when showcasing the Afters is so popular! There’s a reason this movie is so popular, and it’s not just because the songs are catchy as heck. The three Madrigal sisters give us an honest, sometimes gut-wrenching look into our own humanity and the pressures that come with it. Whether you relate to Mirabel, Luisa, Isabella, or all three on any given day, I’m giving you permission to slow down, release the pressure, and just be. Let’s share some magical Madrigal moments on today’s episode of the Tiffany Han Show. EP. 418: You: Beyond the Busy (aka How to Avoid Frantic Chaos when There's a LOT Going On)
Has this thought ever crossed your mind? “I will _____ just as soon as I _____.” (Feel free to fill in the blanks with that thing you really want to do, followed by what you “have to” do.) It’s easy to feel like we have to keep chugging along even when things feel out of alignment, and today’s episode is a reminder that we are not worker bees! We are made of stardust, and we deserve to live in a place that doesn’t feel like burnout—even when there’s a lot to get done. Instead of hanging our hopes of relief on how quickly we can get things done, there is a gentler, more authentic, and meaningful way to move through our days and I want to tell you how. Less bee-ing and more being! Are you with me? Resources mentioned: RSVP to Tiffany’s Get on the wait list for Get Tiffany in Got a question? Get For detailed show notes head to

EP. 417: The Things We’re Not Supposed to Say (And What to Do With Them)

EP. 417: The Things We’re Not Supposed to Say (And What to Do With Them)
As ambitious high-achievers, there are certain things we’ve been taught not to say. Instead of four-letter words. I’m talking about phrases like: I’m dissatisfied with this life I’ve worked so hard to build. I want something unnameably-different from this amazing looking life. I want more. And less. And fun in a way I can’t articulate. If you can relate, start by taking the bar of soap out of your mouth—there’s no shame in feeling what you feel. Today I’m talking about what happens when we say what’s on our hearts and minds without self-judgment, even though there’s pressure to stay silent and stay grateful—and how to use those unsayable things as *useful* information. EP. 416: July Year of No Update: The Launch Results, a New Experiment, and Pre-Pondering Instagram
Welcome back for another Year of No Update! I’m addressing the question we’ve all been asking…did giving up social media destroy my business? Spoiler Alert: Nope! That’s not to say things don’t look a little different these days. Listen in as I share exactly how different this year’s Grown-Up Gap Year Early Bird Registration went compared to last year. That’s right. Down to the exact numbers! I’m also chatting about what’s been coming up for me lately, some tricky things my brain is doing amidst the mid-year slipperiness, how social media worked for me last year, and why I might be preemptively thinking about hopping back in…Taking some time to discover what I’m most curious about has got me in full-on experiment mode, and I’m so excited to tell what I’m discovering! EP. 415: What to Do If (and When!) You Hit a Wall and How Radical Self-Belief Can Help
How many times have you forced yourself to power through when you don’t really want to? This week, I’m talking about a recent “I hit a wall” experience of my own when I reached my capacity and had to choose between two options: I could push through into burnout mode, putting out work I didn't feel great about. Or I could take a breath, give myself a little grace, and look around to see the earth still spinning. You’ll hear what I did (I’ll be you can guess) and what things I want you to think about if (and when) you find yourself approaching! I also break down the pillars of Radical Self-Belief and how each can help you to slow down, be present, and keep from doing too much damage. A little late for preemptive measures? Don’t worry, friend. I’ve got something for you too. Let’s take a beat and feel a bit more alive, together. Resources mentioned: Get Tiffany in Got a question? Get For detailed show notes head to

EP. 414: The Year of No and My Business & How I'm No-ing My Way Through My Upcoming Launch
Welcome back to another Year Of No update where I’m talking all things business! With the upcoming early-bird application period of Grown-Up Gap Year in sight, I’ve been tossing out the formulas and harnessing my energy to have a bit more fun with it all. Sure, the “way things are done” exists for a reason, but if disregarding the rules lights us up, shouldn’t we run with that instead? Via my Year of No, I’m opting for freaking awesome over fine and ditching the master plan in favor of trusting my energy.. After all, isn’t that what Grown-Up Gap Year is all about? Hint: It totally is. Listen in for the inside scoop on how I’ve been moving through my business differently, how I know I’ve set myself up for “success,” and my hunch as to why my results probably won’t have anything to do with being strategic. EP. 413: The Impossibility of Balance and Where to Play Instead
It seems like everyone and their mother has something to teach us about “finding balance,” and maybe you think you could get there too if only you could just cross off enough on the to-do list! Today I’m here to burst the balance bubble once and for all, because while we’ve been taught incessantly about what a balanced life should look like, we’ve never been told what it feels like. What if we scrapped the whole thing? What if we stopped striving for something that doesn’t exist? What if we found a way to light ourselves up in an unbalanced way? Do we dare find harmony in a song we can write ourselves? Today I’m sharing some helpful tools to do just that. Take a deep, centering breath and decide what’s enough. Ready to begin? We’ve got a LOT of unlearning to do, but we get to do it together! EP. 411: Year of No Update: What We've All Been Waiting For + Something Completely Unexpected!
If committing to a year of no was me planting a seed, I can now say that some very exciting (and pretty unexpected!) developments have taken root! I’ll get you caught up on how my Year of No is going, share what’s surprised me the most, and talk about my confirmation that a “Week of No” or a “Month of No” would never have worked for me. I also re-cap last week’s Bake-Along experiment, my delicious live chat about trying something new while simultaneously trying something new! So meta. Oh, and this whole episode is a great reminder that life is so much more delightfully exciting when you proceed in faithful surrender—without knowing the outcome. Tune in to hear what I learned, and all that’s coming around the bend! Resources mentioned: Got a question? Get Get Tiffany in For detailed show notes head to

EP. 410: The Thing(s) About Surrender and Where to Look Next
Relax your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Today we’re talking surrender. While the word itself may summon images of everything from a day spa to a white-flag failure, I’m here to drive home the facts: It’s not a walk in the park. It is NOT the same as giving up. You cannot “achieve” your way into it. What you can do is join me today with an open mind and a willingness to explore some new perspectives around infusing a little surrender into your everyday. Let’s see how much more fun we can have when we loosen our grips and toil a bit less. Resources mentioned: for a conversation & Bake-Along with Tiffany! Schedule with Tiffany! Got a question?
