THE MAVERICK OBSERVER
Founded in 2020 by Tim Hoiles, The Maverick Observer is a start-up news source for Colorado Springs, El Paso County and Colorado. Sprung from a deep history in media, we not only discuss politics, but we also have a passion for food, drinks, business, and views. Commercial media interests, conflicts of interest in ownership and the pursuit of ratings and readership have distorted our news. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are committed to conflict-of-interest-free news. We may take a perspective, but we will never ignore, cancel, or omit the other side. We hope you find our information useful, enlightening, and entertaining. Who does not need a good belly laugh occasionally? Come engage with us on all the topics of the day, whether they are the hottest tacos or the latest decisions of the Colorado Springs City Council and the mayor. Our mission is to educate, inform, engage, stimulate, and connect with our readers, while striving to preserve our honesty and integrity with dignity and honor. We are all best suited when we form our own opinions, assume responsibility for our own actions, and engage in our own passions. Our vision is community engagement and voicing differing opinions within a standard of tolerance. The Maverick Observer is devoted to our liberty and freedoms as a Fourth Estate news entity, the watchdog over government and business. We believe in the principles outlined by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the rights of all Americans as framed by the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Our liberty and individual freedoms are what allow the diversity of thought which has been the bedrock of social, political, and commercial innovations making our world a better place for us all.
MONEY & MERCY
Peace Of Mind For You, A Fresh Financial Start For Your Family. Lincoln-Goldfinch Law's Joshua Meyer and Bankruptcy Attorney Amy Wilburn get together on "Money & Mercy" to teach you a thing or two about financial wellness, and how a fresh start may be closer than you think. Their aim in approaching the world of bankruptcy is through an empathetic and educational lens. If there is anything that the past couple of years taught the world, it’s that it’s alright to ask for help. It is alright to say: “I’m struggling and I need help.” We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
UNAPOLOGETICALLY OUTSPOKEN
A few years ago, we were just two mainstream, everyday American women who both had very little interest in federal or global politics. But like many of you, the onslaught of cancel culture, virtue signaling, censorship, and the twisted narrative of patriotic Americans being a “threat to democracy” that started being forced down our throats by the federal government and mainstream media back in 2021 made us feel frustrated, isolated, and angry. Instead of sitting back and quietly taking it as part of the silent majority, we got fed up and decided to speak out. The result of our collaboration became the Unapologetically Outspoken Podcast, with our first episode airing in August of 2022. While our content structure has changed and evolved a bit over the past couple of years, our desire to be proudly outspoken in support of America, patriotism, common-sense, and upholding freedom has not! Do you want to stay informed (and entertained) with the latest stories from both the left and right sides of the aisle in the crazy world of government and politics? Are you a “normal” freedom-loving person who isn’t a hardcore conservative or a radical liberal and you’re looking for content that speaks to a common-sense perspective? Do you enjoy going down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories? Do you believe in the idea of “America First” and uniting our country? Are you able to laugh at the absurdity of the far left global agenda and not be easily offended by a lack of political correctness from two outspoken female hosts who don’t edit or censor their opinions? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, then add us to your favorites list because this podcast is for you! Please keep in mind we are not professional journalists, we don’t claim to have political backgrounds, and our content is for informational and entertainment purposes only. Whether you are a democrat, republican, independent, or anything in between, we welcome all to have real discussion on facts using a common sense approach. Let's bridge the gap and unite as Americans. And if you enjoy our content, please rate and review the show! Thanks for tuning in! WV on the DOT podcast will provide a direct link where our leadership team and others within the WVDOT can share information in the simplest fashion; by having a conversation.
