DANIEL'S NEMESIS PODCAST
It's a novel that's a podcast that's an audio drama that's a mess that's a novel that's a podcast that's an audio drama that's a hoot! SERIES 1 Salvaging a terrible novel has never been so difficult. It all started with aliens invading after the First World War. But that was never enough. The novel became more surreal, less conventional. And publishers rejected it. That was 20 years ago. Many years later, the writer, Daniel’s Nemesis, returned to his debut fiction to see what could be done with it. This podcast series is the story of one writer, trying to dissect his 20-year old novel, chapter by chapter, but being hindered by his former self who is there to defend it. From bumpy beginnings, this podcast series flourishes into a surreal drama of how one should express themself. The internal conflict any writer has as to what part of their work is actually good, and what needs to go. And that fear of never being able to reproduce a quality of writing that seemed to have come out of nowhere. SERIES 2 Our Host has actually written a decent book this time. Okay, so it's draft 1.5 and still not published, but it's just needing some polish. It has a comprehensible narrative at least, and some kind of story that develops. It's also borrowed quite heavily from German Expressionist films and Japanese horror movies from the turn of the century. But our Host is proud of this one, and that's the important thing. As always, though, it's not a Daniel's Nemesis Podcast until Daniel's has a Nemesis. This time, it's his main character developing himself outside of the book, gaining popularity and success at an incredible rate as the Host is left floundering. And he has some difficult soul-searching to do. If only there were someone to hold up a mirror for him ...

THE JEALOUS CURATOR : ART FOR YOUR EAR
ART FOR YOUR EAR brings you stories from some of my favorite contemporary artists. When I studied Art History, the best part was, well, the gossip. I loved finding out why artists did certain things, what was going on in their personal lives, and behind-the-scenes details about other artists they knew and worked with. This podcast is exactly that ... inside-scoop stories from the artsiest people I know. You'll hear first-hand from these talented, successful, full-time artists (who also happen to be regular people with hilarious stories) BEFORE they’re in the Art History books. - Danielle (aka The Jealous Curator)
