THE FUSSINGS: UNTIL ONE OF US IS DEAD
Kamille and Reggie Fussing are HBCU sweethearts turned mid-thirties professionals who have built a good life together and are still very much figuring out how to share it. They love each other. They also get on each other's last nerve on a nightly basis. Most of that happens in the bedroom, somewhere between 2 AM and whenever Reggie finally stops snoring long enough for Kamille to get a word in. What sounds like a fight about sleep is usually a fight about something else entirely, and what sounds like something else is usually just two people who know each other too well to pretend otherwise. Sharp, funny, and surprisingly tender, The Fussings is a four-part audio drama series about Black love in the middle of a life already in progress. It sits in the tradition of classic radio comedy while sounding entirely like right now.
