As a registered nurse and passionate advocate for genetic fairness, Lindsay also spends her time raising children and working on their family farm using sustainable and regenerative farm practices to improve our food system - and earth - from the ground up! Lindsay opens up about living as a farmwife and mother, homesteading and what it's like at risk for a fatal brain disease, battling the choice to be diagnosed and how to move forward with family planning. Meanwhile, an entrepreneur on their family farm Wholesome Pastures, working as a registered nurse in a rural Emergency Department, public health and dental surgery she navigates the balance of her various roles. From chairing the most profitable charity hike across the country to building their farm business, her experience and well rounded perspectives are medically, holistically and environmentally informed often seeking simplicity in explanation and solution.
