DYNASTY RECONNECT
Newly emancipated Blacks used their labor to buy farmland, start businesses, and provide for their families. In addition, they became literate and built successful communities all during the time of the lynching, mob violence, segregation, and political backstabbing. A look at our history shows a series of accomplishments that our current generation hears little of. With this podcast, we are going to connect our present circumstances with the successes and failures of our past. The future ascendency of our community will be much greater when our collective minds are guided by lessons of our past. We have many great success lessons to build upon.
MYSHIRTMYSTORY
When someone wears a t-shirt, they are wearing it because it says something that means something to them. Each week Anita and Lamont will tell a story about a cool landmark, a particular hobby, job or other slice of life. With each story we will have an artist illustrate from the story that will be available on a t-shirt. We will periodically also have listener stories. We all have a story, what's yours?
THE BLUEPRINT WITH ELIOT MARSHALL
A blueprint tells us how a structure will be built. It tells us how and where the walls will be arranged, and where the electrical outlets will be located. The most successful people all have blueprints that they follow for their lives. Like buildings, very few are the same, but they all must follow the same rules. This podcast is about listening to the stories, inspirations, and systems that the most successful people have used to build their lives.
