info_outline Welcome to the Jolly JourneyThe Jolly Journey Podcast
Welcome to The Jolly Journey podcast! I am honored to invite you to the newest chapter of my journey. In this introduction episode, I discuss how I came to start the Jolly Journey and what you can expect to hear on the podcast.
info_outlineWhat union are you saving?
What if wealth were a model and you and your family over the last 400 years have been building yours? What if each generation worked as hard as they could to navigate the ebbs and flows of life to ensure that your family would do better than the generation before it. What if this family business, this union across time, talent, and the treasure was the most important thing worth saving, would you continue that legacy? What would you commit to doing to ensuring that cross-generational union?
A business is a series of increasingly intimate relationships that create, build, grow, and expand wealth. A business starts with an asset, packaged into a product that is taken to the market and upon the first sale, the relationship with creating, building, growing, and expanding a union of time and value creation begins. In this way, anyone or anything that exchanges value in any way is in essence a business. A business when it is in the black is profitable. Brookings Institute's study notes a 100-year gap in economic mobility between whites and blacks in the United States Post Slavery.
The century-long gap is attributed to intergenerational immobility among black families. Gains made in one generation are often lost in the next.
How focused are you on saving the union? If the times we are navigating currently are the road to a win, are you willing to keep us united?

2. Saving the Union is all about ensuring the business within the business within the business of America remains connected. Meaning the business of you remains united with the business of us remains united with the business of our nation.
3. Anyone and everyone with a financial statement is in business yet few people really take the time to view both their lives and their legacies in this way.
