4216 Hold On To What You Cannot See show art 4216 Hold On To What You Cannot See

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Some seasons ask you to keep going when nothing around you looks any different. The bills are still there. The relationship still aches. The answer you’ve been praying for hasn’t shown up at your door with a bow on it; no overnight delivery. And somewhere in the quiet of another ordinary morning, you wonder if anything is actually happening at all. My friend — you can hold on to what you cannot see. Because the most important work rarely announces itself. It moves underground, in the places your eyes will never reach, building something your circumstances haven’t caught up to yet....

To fire back. But before you say a word, what if the most powerful thing you could do in that moment is nothing at all? 4211 The Power of 4211 The Power of "I See You"

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Something powerful happens in a marriage when one person turns to the other and says, with quiet, deliberate presence — I see you. The power of “I see you” is not about fixing anything, solving a problem, or checking something off a list. It is about pausing long enough to notice the human being standing right in front of you.  The one who shows up day after day, doing the things no one claps for. The one who carries burdens they have not fully named. When was the last time you looked at your spouse and let them know that who they are matters to you? Desire to be supported and...

4210 The Myth of the Empty Vessel show art 4210 The Myth of the Empty Vessel

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Somewhere along the way, somebody decided that the holiest version of motherhood looks like a woman who has nothing left. Pour out. Give more. Skip the meal. Skip the rest. Run yourself completely dry and call it faithfulness. And if you've ever whispered a prayer through clenched teeth because you had nothing left to give — then you've already bumped into the myth of the empty vessel.  But today, you're dismantling it — because that myth was never God's design for you. 4209 Release What You Buried show art 4209 Release What You Buried

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

There comes a point in every season where you have to stop and take an honest look at what you've been carrying. Not everything that weighed you down was meant to travel this far with you. And today, right here, right now — it's time to release what buried you. But some of what pressed you into the ground was soil. God placed it there with purpose. It was the covering you needed, so the seed inside you could crack open, stretch its roots, and begin to grow into something only He could design. Yet some of it was never soil at all. It was just weight. Dead weight. And you've been dragging it...

4208 Tending What's Tender show art 4208 Tending What's Tender

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

In every garden, the gardeners watch carefully for the first buds to appear. Not the full bloom. Not the sturdy stem. But the bud. It's the plant's most vulnerable part because it hasn't hardened yet. It's new and exposed, full of potential, yet not strong enough to withstand a late frost or a careless hand. And if you've been doing the interior work lately — pulling up old roots, tilling hard ground, planting seeds of faith in places that used to grow nothing but fear — then you may be approaching a season of tending what's tender. Because what's beginning to emerge in you right now...

4207 Refuse the Verdict show art 4207 Refuse the Verdict

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

You woke up this morning, and before your feet even hit the floor, there was already noise. Not the alarm. Not the kids. Something deeper, quieter, meaner — a thought that slid in before you had the chance to decide what kind of day this was going to be. And if you're not careful, that thought will try to run the whole show. But you don't have to let it. Today is your invitation to refuse the verdict, because you were named before the noise ever began. WOW!! Sit with that for a minute. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? There is something about this time of year that stirs up a sense of possibility. The air shifts, routines reset, and whether you have children heading back to school or not, fall carries with it a quiet invitation to begin again. But you cannot step into something new if your arms are full of everything old; unpack the old and leave it behind.

Think about the last time you traveled with too many bags. Every doorway became an obstacle. Every step felt heavier than it needed to. You spent more energy managing your luggage than enjoying the journey.

That is exactly what happens when we drag every disappointment, every failed attempt, and every "what if" into a brand-new season. We show up somewhere beautiful, but we are too weighed down to notice.

  • Maybe it is a career move that did not pan out.
  • Maybe it is a relationship that ended differently than you imagined.
  • Maybe it is a version of yourself you thought you would be by now — and you are not there yet.

Whatever it is, carrying it forward does not honor the experience. It just exhausts you.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

What you walked through had a purpose, and releasing it has one too. The lesson was the gift. The season itself was never meant to move in with you permanently. When you hold onto what has already served its purpose, you block the very thing that is trying to reach you next.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Unpack the old!

You have to give yourself permission to put down your baggage and stop replaying moments that didn't work. Not because they do not matter, but because they already taught you what they came to teach. You are not dishonoring your past by choosing to stop living in it. You are honoring the woman you are becoming by making room for her.

Also, you must be honest about what you have been carrying out of habit rather than necessity. Some of us have held onto guilt for so long it feels like part of our identity. Some of us replay old conversations not because they are helpful, but because they are familiar.

Familiar is not the same as fruitful. Just because something has always traveled with you does not mean it still belongs in your bag.

Here is the beautiful thing about a fresh start — it does not require perfection. It requires openness. You don't need every answer or a ten-step plan. You just need to be willing to loosen your grip on what was, so your hands are free to receive what is.

As the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.."

He did not say he erased his past. He said he stopped letting it set the direction for his future.

This Fall, give yourself the grace to travel lighter. Celebrate how far you have come without punishing yourself for the roads that led to dead ends. Those roads still got you here. And here is exactly where your next chapter begins — not behind you, buried under what went wrong, but ahead of you, wide open and waiting.

You were never meant to carry it all. You were meant to grow through it, gather the wisdom, and keep moving.

So set it down, my sweet sister. Step forward with your hands open and your heart expectant. The best of what God has for you is not found in the rearview mirror. It is standing right in front of you, asking you to show up — with grace, light, and readiness.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
