Some seasons ask you to keep going when nothing around you looks any different. The bills are still there. The relationship still aches. The answer you’ve been praying for hasn’t shown up at your door with a bow on it; no overnight delivery. And somewhere in the quiet of another ordinary morning, you wonder if anything is actually happening at all. My friend — you can hold on to what you cannot see. Because the most important work rarely announces itself. It moves underground, in the places your eyes will never reach, building something your circumstances haven’t caught up to yet....

You see it happening. Something in you is shifting — the way you pray, the way you respond, the way you hold your peace when you used to lose it. There’s new growth forming in your spirit, and it’s real. But before you rush to show the world, before you post it, proclaim it, or perform it for an audience, don’t pick the bud. "The bloom’s beauty comes from its budded heart that has had time to become. You can’t rush what is not ready." ~ Kristianne Wargo Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Pretending takes so much more energy than people realize. It’s not just one lie — it’s a thousand tiny adjustments every single day. You’ve been carrying it for a while now, haven’t you? That careful smile. That practiced answer — I’m good, I’m fine, everything’s great. And maybe you’ve gotten so good at wearing it that even you’ve started to believe it. But it’s time to put the mask down because you’re finally ready to be whole. Otherwise, you find youself adjusting your voice and your posture. You rearrange your face before you walk into the room. You swallow the...

You've done it before: lying awake at night replaying a conversation that hasn't happened yet, mapping out every worst-case scenario before getting out of bed. You know that moment right before the words leave your mouth — your pulse is up, your thoughts are racing, and everything in you wants to say the thing. To set the record straight. To be heard. To fire back. But before you say a word, what if the most powerful thing you could do in that moment is nothing at all? What if the gap between the feeling and the speaking is actually one of the wisest places God has given you to stand? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Something powerful happens in a marriage when one person turns to the other and says, with quiet, deliberate presence — I see you. The power of “I see you” is not about fixing anything, solving a problem, or checking something off a list. It is about pausing long enough to notice the human being standing right in front of you. The one who shows up day after day, doing the things no one claps for. The one who carries burdens they have not fully named. When was the last time you looked at your spouse and let them know that who they are matters to you? Desire to be supported and...

Somewhere along the way, somebody decided that the holiest version of motherhood looks like a woman who has nothing left. Pour out. Give more. Skip the meal. Skip the rest. Run yourself completely dry and call it faithfulness. And if you've ever whispered a prayer through clenched teeth because you had nothing left to give — then you've already bumped into the myth of the empty vessel. But today, you're dismantling it — because that myth was never God's design for you. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the . #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama...

There comes a point in every season where you have to stop and take an honest look at what you've been carrying. Not everything that weighed you down was meant to travel this far with you. And today, right here, right now — it's time to release what buried you. But some of what pressed you into the ground was soil. God placed it there with purpose. It was the covering you needed, so the seed inside you could crack open, stretch its roots, and begin to grow into something only He could design. Yet some of it was never soil at all. It was just weight. Dead weight. And you've been dragging it...

In every garden, the gardeners watch carefully for the first buds to appear. Not the full bloom. Not the sturdy stem. But the bud. It's the plant's most vulnerable part because it hasn't hardened yet. It's new and exposed, full of potential, yet not strong enough to withstand a late frost or a careless hand. And if you've been doing the interior work lately — pulling up old roots, tilling hard ground, planting seeds of faith in places that used to grow nothing but fear — then you may be approaching a season of tending what's tender. Because what's beginning to emerge in you right now...

You woke up this morning, and before your feet even hit the floor, there was already noise. Not the alarm. Not the kids. Something deeper, quieter, meaner — a thought that slid in before you had the chance to decide what kind of day this was going to be. And if you're not careful, that thought will try to run the whole show. But you don't have to let it. Today is your invitation to refuse the verdict, because you were named before the noise ever began. WOW!! Sit with that for a minute. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? info_outlineYou know the story — a little girl in a red hood walks through the woods carrying something precious, and somewhere along the way, she realizes that what she's looking at isn't what it seems. The eyes are too big. The teeth are too sharp. The voice is close, but it isn't safe. And yet the part of that story we often overlook isn't the wolf. It's the girl. She looked. She noticed. She didn't just accept what was sitting in front of her — she questioned it. Dare to look.
And that is exactly where your courage begins. If you've been walking through this week asking yourself what thoughts you've never questioned, welcome to Rise With Truth — because today, you are daring to look, and you're already braver than you think.

Most of us grew up hearing the tale of Little Red Riding Hood as a warning — be careful, stay on the path, don't talk to strangers.
But there's something deeper in that story when you hold it up to the light. There was a moment when Little Red Riding Hood stood in that room and could have accepted the disguise. She could have ignored the feeling in her gut. She could have smiled and gone along with what she was being told.
But instead, she looked closer. What big eyes you have. What big ears you have. What big teeth you have. Question by question, she pulled back the cover on something that had been pretending to be safe.
That's what it looks like to examine your thought life.
Some of the thoughts you've been living with have been dressed up in familiar voices — comfortable, well-worn, almost believable. They sound like home. They sound like truth.
But when you lean in and really look, something doesn't add up. The thought that says you'll never be enough? It's wearing a disguise. The belief that tells you it's too late to change? Its teeth are too sharp to be anything that loves you. The voice that whispers you should just keep quiet and stop hoping for more? That voice is not your grandmother, my friend. That voice is the wolf.
And here's the part of the story no one talks about enough — it takes extraordinary courage to question what's familiar.
Little Red Riding Hood didn't run at first. She looked. She asked. She let herself see what was really in front of her. That is not small.
Mary Anne Radmacher put it this way: "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'"
The bravest thing you may do this week isn't to make a grand declaration. It may be pulling back the covers on a thought you've accepted your whole life and finally asking, But is this true?
Bravery doesn't begin with the breakthrough. It begins with honesty. It begins the moment you admit, I've been carrying something that doesn't belong to me. Maybe it's a thought about your worth that someone else planted. Maybe it's a belief about what you deserve that was handed to you so long ago you forgot it wasn't yours.
Whatever it is, the moment you dare to look at it — really look, the way that girl in the red hood looked — is the moment it starts to lose its power.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Dare to look!
And unlike Little Red Riding Hood, you don't face the wolf alone.
Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Wherever you go — that includes the deep woods of your own thought life. That includes the room where something has been pretending to comfort you while it slowly devours your peace. God doesn't send you in unprotected. He commands courage and then stands right beside you while you pull back every disguise. He's not waiting on the other side of the hard thing. He's with you in the middle of it.
So if you woke up today wondering whether you have what it takes to do this — to really begin the work of examining your mind and making it new — I need you to hear me clearly. You've already started. You started the moment you chose to pay attention. You started the moment you stopped accepting every thought at face value and said, What big lies you have. That is not weakness. That is one of the strongest things a woman can do.
This journey isn't about tearing yourself apart. It's about opening yourself up — gently, bravely, honestly — and inviting God into the spaces you've been managing on your own. The wolf only has power in the dark. The wolf only wins when no one looks.
But you're looking. And the God who walks with you wherever you go has already written how this story ends — not with the wolf, but with the girl who dared to see the truth.
So rise, my sweet friend. Rise with the truth that you are held, you are not alone, and the courage you need has already been given to you.
One honest look at a time, one surrendered thought at a time, one quiet "I will try again tomorrow" at a time — you are becoming the woman God already sees when He looks at you.
"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
