There’s a tiredness that sleep doesn’t fix. It’s not in your body — it’s in your soul. It’s the kind of exhaustion that shows up when you’ve been pouring and pouring and no one ever thought to ask if you were empty. You made breakfast, signed the permission slips, held the crying child, smiled through the chaos, late-night conversations — and when the house finally went quiet, you realized you had nothing left. Not for them. Not for yourself. Not for the woman you used to recognize. She gave everything and called it love — and you know her because you’ve been her or might...

Some seasons ask you to keep going when nothing around you looks any different. The bills are still there. The relationship still aches. The answer you’ve been praying for hasn’t shown up at your door with a bow on it; no overnight delivery. And somewhere in the quiet of another ordinary morning, you wonder if anything is actually happening at all. My friend — you can hold on to what you cannot see. Because the most important work rarely announces itself. It moves underground, in the places your eyes will never reach, building something your circumstances haven’t caught up to yet....

You see it happening. Something in you is shifting — the way you pray, the way you respond, the way you hold your peace when you used to lose it. There’s new growth forming in your spirit, and it’s real. But before you rush to show the world, before you post it, proclaim it, or perform it for an audience, don’t pick the bud. "The bloom’s beauty comes from its budded heart that has had time to become. You can’t rush what is not ready." ~ Kristianne Wargo Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Pretending takes so much more energy than people realize. It’s not just one lie — it’s a thousand tiny adjustments every single day. You’ve been carrying it for a while now, haven’t you? That careful smile. That practiced answer — I’m good, I’m fine, everything’s great. And maybe you’ve gotten so good at wearing it that even you’ve started to believe it. But it’s time to put the mask down because you’re finally ready to be whole. Otherwise, you find youself adjusting your voice and your posture. You rearrange your face before you walk into the room. You swallow the...

You've done it before: lying awake at night replaying a conversation that hasn't happened yet, mapping out every worst-case scenario before getting out of bed. You've carried the weight of what-if, and you didn't even realize how heavy it was until you couldn't stand up straight anymore. Fear-based thinking doesn't always look like panic. Sometimes it looks like planning. What a concept! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? You know that moment right before the words leave your mouth — your pulse is up, your thoughts are racing, and everything in you wants to say the thing. To set the record straight. To be heard. To fire back. But before you say a word, what if the most powerful thing you could do in that moment is nothing at all? What if the gap between the feeling and the speaking is actually one of the wisest places God has given you to stand? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Something powerful happens in a marriage when one person turns to the other and says, with quiet, deliberate presence — I see you. The power of “I see you” is not about fixing anything, solving a problem, or checking something off a list. It is about pausing long enough to notice the human being standing right in front of you. The one who shows up day after day, doing the things no one claps for. The one who carries burdens they have not fully named. When was the last time you looked at your spouse and let them know that who they are matters to you? Desire to be supported and...

Somewhere along the way, somebody decided that the holiest version of motherhood looks like a woman who has nothing left. Pour out. Give more. Skip the meal. Skip the rest. Run yourself completely dry and call it faithfulness. And if you've ever whispered a prayer through clenched teeth because you had nothing left to give — then you've already bumped into the myth of the empty vessel. But today, you're dismantling it — because that myth was never God's design for you. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the . #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama...

There comes a point in every season where you have to stop and take an honest look at what you've been carrying. Not everything that weighed you down was meant to travel this far with you. And today, right here, right now — it's time to release what buried you. But some of what pressed you into the ground was soil. God placed it there with purpose. It was the covering you needed, so the seed inside you could crack open, stretch its roots, and begin to grow into something only He could design. Yet some of it was never soil at all. It was just weight. Dead weight. And you've been dragging it...

In every garden, the gardeners watch carefully for the first buds to appear. Not the full bloom. Not the sturdy stem. But the bud. It's the plant's most vulnerable part because it hasn't hardened yet. It's new and exposed, full of potential, yet not strong enough to withstand a late frost or a careless hand. And if you've been doing the interior work lately — pulling up old roots, tilling hard ground, planting seeds of faith in places that used to grow nothing but fear — then you may be approaching a season of tending what's tender. Because what's beginning to emerge in you right now...
info_outlineEvery mother knows the invisible rhythms. The whispered prayers over sleeping children. The mental checklist that never stops running — appointments, groceries, emotions, permission slips, and that look on your kid's face at dinner that told you something was wrong even though they said they were fine. You caught it. You always catch it. And later, after the house goes still, you lie awake turning it over, figuring out how to help, how to hold it, how to fix what you can and surrender what you cannot; oh, the unseen hours.
That's not small work. That is love in its most relentless, most faithful form.

But here's the quiet ache so many mamas carry and never say out loud — when no one sees what you do, it starts to feel like it doesn't matter. And when what you do doesn't seem to matter, you start to wonder if you do. That's the lie. And we need to call it what it is.
Your worth was never tied to someone else's awareness of your effort.
Colossians 3:23–24 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."
Your audience was never your family's attention — it was always God's heart. He sees every unseen hour. Every quiet sacrifice. Every moment you chose love when you were running on empty. And He calls it good.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't be seen. It doesn't mean you should keep swallowing the exhaustion and smiling through it.
"The lack of recognition doesn't reduce the value of what you've done." ~ Kristianne Wargo
The world may not hand you a trophy for keeping your household running, for holding your child's heart with care, for showing up again when you had nothing left. But heaven keeps a different record.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Your harvest is coming. Not because you earned it by burning yourself down, but because faithfulness has a return — and God doesn't miss a single seed you've planted.
But let me be honest with you about something. This series isn't here to glorify the grind. It's not here to say, "Keep pouring until there's nothing left and call it love." No. Love was never meant to cost you yourself.
You are more than what you produce. You are more than the lunches and the carpools and the bedtime routines and the late-night text messages. Those things matter because you matter — not the other way around.
And you must remember, your children are watching. Not just what you do for them, but how you treat yourself while doing it. They are learning what a woman looks like when she's whole — or when she's disappearing. You get to choose which lesson they carry.
Give yourself a gift; honor the unseen.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Honor the unseen!
And that goes for everything you whisper under your breath, "If you only knew."
You matter and the work you do matters.
So here's the question — what would it look like to honor the unseen, starting with how you see yourself?
1. Name it.
Write down three things you did this week that no one noticed or thanked you for. Look at that list. That's love in action — and it deserves to be seen, even if only by you.
2. Release the scorecard.
Stop measuring your worth by whether someone acknowledged what you did. Your labor is not less because it was quiet. Let go of needing the thank-you to feel valuable.
3. Speak over yourself.
Before bed tonight, say this out loud: "What I carry matters. What I do matters. And I matter — not because of what I produce, but because of who I am."
Mama, the hours are long. There are days when you feel like you're invisible in your own home, running on fumes and faith and not much else.
But you are not invisible. Not to God. And not to the woman looking back at you in the mirror who deserves to be told, "You're doing a really beautiful thing."
The unseen hours don't make you less. They reveal how deeply you love. And that love is building something you can't even see yet.
"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
