info_outlineWelcome to Inside Devon podcast, today we are joined by Faye Whitley.
Faye is the Co-founder of Beevive. The Original Bee Revival Kit. Faye’s bee saving story began in the summer of 2018.
During a short break in Cornwall, Faye and her partner Jake were out exploring when they discovered an exhausted bee.
Unequipped, with no flowers nearby, they carefully picked up the bee and started a search for sugar and water. They found a café keen to help and mixed a sugar water solution onto a spoon. They then gathered outside, waited and after a few sips the bee had enough energy to buzz away.
It was on this day the idea of BEEVIVE was born.
During the show we talk about her career journey, her work at Beevive and her interests outside of work. We also speak about a wide range of other interesting topics.
I really enjoyed my chat with Faye and I hope you do to.
