After discovering that 67% of American women are a size 14 or above, Kathy and her co-host Eva Tingley felt that the moment has arrived for media, entertainment and fashion to catch up with content for this under-served majority and they started the vodcast. Plus This! features pop-culture, fashion, and current debates regarding food and health, the societal negativity and stereotypes that surround women who dare to take up a little bit of space.
Kathy is a New York transplant who was in the original Broadway companies of FOOTLOOSE and WICKED and her Los Angeles acting debut was at the Hollywood Bowl in RENT directed by Neil Patrick Harris. Kathy also played Catherine/Senator Martin in the LA cast of SILENCE! THE MUSICAL (which received an LA Weekly Award) and currently is a part of the musical parody TITANIQUE as the Unsinkable Molly Brown. On television, she has portrayed a young Ethel Darling in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW and played with Pamela Adlon in BETTER THINGS. In film, she’s opposite Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet in the thriller LOFT and was rubbed up and down by Matt Bomer in MAGIC MIKE XXL.
