Welcome to another of our summer series of reruns, so far all from our school year broadcasts from 2024, This one aired in February of that year so the current events round cill sound a little non-current. This summer is the program’s first release as a podcast. The teams are from Lake Ridge Academy, a prestigious private school in North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Vermilion High School, a large public school that straddles Lorain and Erie counties. Both schools have won our Scholastic Games championship in past years.

Scholastic Games produces new competitions each year between Januaray and May. It is a series of seventeen weekly programs featuring up to sixteen area teams, with invitees from all public, private, parochial, and charter schools that are in the county, wholly or partially. The season includes playoffs and eliminations culminating in an annual championship. Over the years, twelve different area teams have achieved champion status, the latest being Avon High School in 2025.
