The focus is how to bring a balance in your life by eating clean food. Kari says..“The food, 100% raw and plant-based, was absolutely delicious. Even the seven days of juice fasting—spread across the three weeks—wasn’t as hard as I imagined. After the initial adjustment, I wasn’t hungry, and my energy skyrocketed.”
If the raw food vegetables might be too much for mom ..here are some suggestions using all ORGANIC products: For the breakfast or brunch in bed: organic strawberry’s topped on organic plain yogurt, sprinkled with almonds, drizzled with local honey. Next a Brunch : grilled peasant bread, a slather of her favorite condiment, smashed avocado or HUMMUS. I like arugula to add flavor and color to the plate and the bread, organic cherry tomatoes for color and flavor. Why not add some festive bubbles: GRUET or non alcoholic sparking apple cider. Very festive.
If a NATURAL setting appeals to her more, take her to a beautiful park with serene surroundings, a picnic lunch for ONE, and take her cell phone away.
Last idea: buy her a DO IT YOURSELF spa treatment at home. Everyone leaves the house for hours and let her have peace and quiet at home.
I tribute all these ideas to Kari as she gave me the inspiration for a peaceful, serene and calm Mother’s Day when we had a nice talk about her own steps she is taking for her new life transition .
