.74 should I leave or stay? what strength really looks like in a destructive relationship
I’ll never tell you whether to stay or leave a relationship—that’s a deeply personal decision, and safety always comes first. What I will say is that sometimes, when one person starts to shift—by speaking up, setting boundaries, and reconnecting with who they are—the dynamic can begin to change. In this episode, I share a moment at the gym that unexpectedly mirrored what real strength looks like in hard relationships. It’s not always in the dramatic decisions. Sometimes the flex is in the small reps—done with intention, clarity, and truth. 👉 If this conversation hits close to home and you’re ready for 1:1 support, let’s talk. I’ll help you process what’s really going on, find clarity, and take the next right step—whatever that looks like for you. 📱 Stay Connected: • Instagram: • Website:

We talk about the difference between trauma and unforgiveness, and why the feelings that surface when we see someone from our past don’t necessarily mean we’re doing something wrong. Ashley shares powerful, compassionate insights about being fully seen by God and learning to live from your true identity, even when old wounds resurface. .72 breaking free: identifying personal contributions to relationship challenges
When you're in—or recovering from—a destructive relationship, especially while trying to co-parent, it’s tempting to focus solely on the other person’s behavior. But what if one of the most powerful paths to healing is found in taking an honest look at your part? In this episode, we dive into a deeper examen of how we may unknowingly contribute to the relational patterns we desperately want to break. This isn’t about blame—it’s about awareness, growth, and the freedom that comes from doing things differently moving forward. This conversation is raw, real, and rooted in hope—especially for women who feel stuck in fear, shame, or self-doubt. You’ll leave with clarity, compassion for yourself, and maybe even the language you’ve been missing to name what’s really going on inside you. Whether you're still in it, out of it, or somewhere in between—this one’s for you. 🔗 Mentioned in this Episode: Related Episodes from Own Your Revival: Resources: I Want to Trust You But I Don’t by Lysa TerKeurst (for families and friends of those affected by another’s drinking) 📱 Stay Connected: Instagram: Website: Book a Discovery Call: ✨ I can’t wait to connect with you and support you on your journey!

Ever find yourself bracing before holidays, birthdays, or big life events—wondering if someone is going to ruin it again? You’re not alone. In this episode, we’re digging into a pattern I call emotional whiplash—those sudden outbursts that seem to come out of nowhere right before something good. We’ll explore why it happens, what’s really going on, and how to start protecting your peace even if someone else refuses to change. This one is especially for the woman who thinks she’s crazy for dreading the moments that are supposed to bring joy. You’re not crazy. You’re waking up. 🎧 Press play to hear: What emotional whiplash really is (and what it’s not) Small boundary-building moves I made to protect big moments Why some people stay stuck—and what you can actually do about it 💬 Know a woman who might need to hear this? .69 (guest) from silence to strength; one woman's journey through divorce with Lauren Louque
Today’s episode is one that I know will stay with you. I’m joined by Lauren from Louisiana—the first guest I’ve had on the show who I met out on the interwebs—and I’ve completely fallen in love with her beautiful faith, her mindful way of sharing her story, and (let’s be honest) her pursuit of the perfect king cake. She’s a mama of four, and in this conversation, she opens up about the silence she once kept around the pain in her marriage, the mixed responses she received when she finally spoke up, and the slow, sometimes lonely process of finding people who could truly enter into what she was experiencing and be the support she needed in the storm. Her story is a beautiful reminder that even just one person who sees and believes you can make all the difference. This is an episode I’d encourage anyone in the Church to hear—there are real opportunities here for awareness, compassion, and hope. Whether you’re walking through your own valley or love someone who is, I pray Lauren’s voice is the lifeline you didn’t know you needed. 📱 Stay Connected: ➡️ Follow me on Instagram: ➡️ Visit my website: ➡️ Questions about working together? book a discovery call:

.68 when clarity comes after action: why starting matters more than knowing
Someone recently asked me how to find a spiritual director, and I shared the best advice I ever got: Even when you think you’ve found the right one, meet with them a few times before you decide. That wisdom has echoed in so many other areas of life. Because often, we want clarity before we take action. But what if the clarity only comes after we’ve had the courage to show up, take the next step, and trust the process? In this episode, I’m sharing the tender truth of what it means to move forward without all the answers—and how transformation unfolds one faithful step at a time. 💫 Want more support as you take your next brave step? • 1:1 Coaching: If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I’d love to work with you personally to help you regain clarity, set healthy boundaries, and move forward in peace. . 📱 Stay Connected: ➡️ Follow me on Instagram: ➡️ Visit: ➡️ Have questions? ✨ I can’t wait to connect with you and support you on your journey.

66. 🔑 breaking free from why: the key to becoming a change agent in your life
In today’s episode, we dive into the powerful shift from asking "Why?" to embracing the bigger questions that lead to real change in your life. We often get stuck in the cycle of wondering why things happen or why people act the way they do, but this focus on “why” keeps us from stepping into the role of a change agent in our own lives. I’ll walk you through how shifting your perspective can help you take control, make powerful choices, and move toward the transformation you’re seeking. Whether you see yourself as a leader or not, this episode will encourage you to take action and start asking, "What am I willing to do?" as you become the catalyst for change you were always meant to be. Mentioned in this episode: 🎬 Ghostbusters (1984) – Dr. Venkman’s ESP card test scene 💥 How this moment popped into my head every time my coach called me out for getting stuck in why questions—just like a little electric jolt snapping me back to reality! 💡 Plus, I share The Courage to Engage: A Leadership Manifesto—a powerful reminder of what it means to step up and take ownership of your life. .60 embracing vulnerability: a journey of authenticity 🥀
Welcome to Own Your Revival! 🔥 IIn 2025, the word "vulnerability" has been chasing me, appearing in unexpected places and conversations. Reflecting on my recent speaking engagements, I noticed that sharing my personal testimony + journey left me feeling a wee bit exposed 😅, yet the feedback often highlighted my vulnerability. This made me question: Did this have more to do with me, or was it resonating with others' stories, hearts and minds? Interestingly, we often feel more comfortable with others' vulnerability than our own. Brené Brown's insight comes to mind: "Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity." By embracing our own vulnerability, we create a space for others to do the same, fostering deep connections and mutual healing. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on vulnerability, authenticity and personal growth. 🔗 Resources & Links Mentioned in the Show: 🔥 NEW: Revival Community Looking for faith-filled support and guidance? I humbly propose we move the needle off of productivity and checking all the lists twice to a healthy balance focused on maintaining presence with Christ in prayer and those we love on the daily. As we enter the sacred season of Advent, it's a time to step back and reflect on our journey, embracing the quiet moments that allow us to listen for God's voice amidst the busyness of life. This season invites us to grieve the losses that come with change—whether it's the evolution of family traditions or the growing independence of our children—while also creating space for meaningful connections. By prioritizing stillness and prayer, we can draw closer to Jesus, nurturing our hearts and those of our loved ones as we prepare for His coming. In this way, Advent becomes not just a countdown to Christmas, but a profound opportunity for spiritual renewal and familial bonding. Join me inside this episode (complete with a crackling 🔥 in the background) for more meditations on this. 📆 Podcast will pause for Advent after this episode until January 6, 2025. .51 bridging the gap to live the great command
Welcome back to Own Your Revival🔥 Join Andy as she draws a poignant parallel between the tension of last Tuesday’s historic event in the United States with the emotion of divorce court, where the stakes feel equally high as individuals await a ruling on custody. Just as in divorce, where both parties often have differing perspectives yet ultimately desire what is best for their children, the recent election has highlighted deep divides among the American people. How do we bridge the gap in the new normal of our democracy to love, empathize and foster a spirit of unity? 📆 Podcast will pause for Advent after December 2nd episode and resume on January 6, 2025. .46 (coaching) with Rachael Tvrdy on launching a new women's ministry
Welcome back to Own Your Revival🔥 Have you ever wondered what coaching is really like? Well, today’s episode is going to give you a taste of it with my special guest and dear friend, Rachael Tvrdy, who is the Director of Family Life for the Diocese of Lincoln. On the heels of completing a Betrayal Trauma Religious Leader Training with the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists, Rachael graciously agreed to come on the show and receive coaching in support of her launching a ministry to serve women affected by betrayal trauma. Coaching is a future-focused collaboration and this session was to help Rachael create more clarity and empower her to begin the work she has so clearly been called to. If you’ve ever had an idea for a personal apostolate or ministry within the church to one day help others, we pray this episode inspires and encourages you to begin in God’s good timing. Please join me in keeping Rachael and the women she will serve in this ministry in your prayers. 🙏🏼 ⭐️ Note/Disclaimer: APSATS () is a non-profit organization that provides professional training certification and research for partners of addicts and those who treat them. For the purposes of this podcast, the term sex addiction or sex addict is used synonymously with pornography or porn addict, or any compulsory sexual behavior. The model of APSATS differs from other sexual addiction models as it focuses on the traumatic impact of sexual addiction on the partner or spouse. As well, APSATS focuses on empirically researched theories and skills to effectively provide trauma-informed treatment for the partner or spouse. 🖥️ Links: To find a counselor who provides treatment for partners or wives of addicts, please search for CSATS (certified sexual addiction therapists) in your local area ✝️ Reach out to Rachael Tvrdy 👋🏼 📲 Connect with Andy☀️ ➡️ Instagram: ➡️ Website: ➡️ Book a discovery call . ✨ ➡️ Soulful Sunday Reflections: I’d love to hear your comments, questions, suggestions about the show! ⬇️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much! xoxo Andy & co.
