Do I Really Hate Men? Interesting question and one I have asked myself many times. This is not an ‘I hate men’ podcast neither is it just an account of my divorce and the many awful events leading up to and during it. This podcast is a safe space to delve into what happens when relationships end, it provides guidance on how to carry on being a functioning adult and/or Single Mum when you feel broken inside. This podcast provides hope sprinkled with humour, at times its emotional at times inspiring and at times sad. Steven has a unique perspective and approach to child psychology, an approach that has been forged through years of seeing too many psychologists focusing on the negatives. In this interview with Ang, Steven discusses his methods, his experiences and his successes and how focusing on the good can change your child's life. Directly after birth all women shift their entire focus on to their newborn, any lingering pain or discomfort the mother may feel is chalked up to ‘the difficulty of giving birth’. But, what most women don’t realise is that the trauma of giving birth can lead to pain, both mental and physical, that will last a lifetime if it is not addressed. In this episode, Lynn covers the whole topic of birth related trauma, the consequent pain and how to heal in the short term so that your body and mind are where they need to be. Whilst it was initially getting her down, with the help of some friends, she powered through, after realising why she started the show in the first place - to spread positivity. Inspired by these events, Ang has dedicated this week's episode to managing your time and random acts of kindness, to help you realise that what you need the most, might be right in front of you.
