DYNASTY RECONNECT
Newly emancipated Blacks used their labor to buy farmland, start businesses, and provide for their families. In addition, they became literate and built successful communities all during the time of the lynching, mob violence, segregation, and political backstabbing. A look at our history shows a series of accomplishments that our current generation hears little of. With this podcast, we are going to connect our present circumstances with the successes and failures of our past. The future ascendency of our community will be much greater when our collective minds are guided by lessons of our past. We have many great success lessons to build upon.
THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED WITH CHAD MCKENZIE
The greatest adventures rarely start out intentionally. They begin with a simple idea. They are debated. Inevitably someone will say it's impossible, it can't be done, and whoever attempts it will surely perish from the effort. Once the impossibility has been decided there always seems to be one man - one dumb man, who sets out to defy the odds (usually to impress a girl) and will risk his life to do so (and hopes that she's watching). The best stories aren't always fiction. Before we begin I would remind you - this actually happened.
