Be You Podcast
It’s the end of January, and Jill is here to pause the momentum of her current New Year series to offer something a little bit different – an invitation to stop and ask for help. After weeks of reflecting on 2025, easing into 2026, and clearing physical and emotional clutter, Jill introduces a “pattern interrupt” or a week devoted not to doing more but rather to opening ourselves to guidance from whatever each of us understands as infinite love, source energy, God, or support beyond ourselves. Jill highlights that every person has a sovereign relationship with their own form of...

Jill returns to talking about the New Year this episode as she reframes the start of the year by separating what the calendar says from what the body, spirit, and nervous system are actually experiencing. While the 1st of January might mark a date change as per the Gregorian calendar, Jill explains why she doesn’t energetically follow it and how aligning with the lunar calendar reveals that many of us are still finishing the work of the previous year. If January has felt heavy, confusing, or unexpectedly intense, Jill offers a compassionate perspective on why delayed emotional “shedding”...

We are halfway through January already, and Jill invites listeners into a gentler, more intentional way of approaching the new year, one that says no to urgency, pressure, and the push to immediately produce results. Speaking to both longtime listeners and those who are just finding the show, she reintroduces her idea of “wintering”: a conscious pause marked by rest, quiet, and reflection as an active, not a passive, practice. She shares how choosing not to rush forward has already begun to shift things for her in really big ways. Via some personal stories, including a recent loss and a...

We are getting so close to the upcoming BE YOU event celebrating five years and 300 episodes of the podcast, and this week, Jill is providing listeners with some important details - both reminders and updates - about the event. She stresses that while this episode is primarily for listeners who are definitely going to the event, everyone else is invited to listen as well in case you’re on the fence about whether or not you want to go and/or just want an idea of the energy and atmosphere that will be experienced at the event.
Jill encourages listeners to find ways to seek out the same sense of authenticity, connection, and support that will be present at the event, whether it be through creating your own gatherings or your own social circles, and she stresses that the event is about dropping masks, letting go of competition and comparison, and simply being yourself!
For those who are attending the event, listen in as Jill provides some helpful details, from the event schedule to the dress code (which is essentially no dress code at all). She promises attendees that the event is designed to make them feel safe, seen, and held, without any pressure for vulnerability or deep work beyond what they are comfortable with. She also shares her vision for the event, a place where women can simply be themselves without feeling a need to perform or impress.
Ultimately, Jill invites listeners to fully embrace the opportunity, whether attending the event or finding ways to create a similar experience in your own lives, and she passionately encourages an attitude of openness, surrender, and trust in the process as she promises that the event will be a transformative and literally unique experience!
Jill spends some time this week reflecting on some of the lessons that she has been learning as she plans her upcoming event celebrating 300 episodes of the podcast! She gets into the personal growth that she has experienced via planning this event, acknowledging her tendency to take on too much responsibility and do everything herself, even though this often leads to burnout and resentment.
However, after realizing that she was slipping back into this pattern as she planned the event, Jill had an epiphany - the true lesson was not about her own limitations but about fully surrendering and trusting that the universe will provide what is needed, so rather than trying to force herself to sell every single ticket, Jill has decided to let go and allow the seats to fill organically. She declares that there will be 200 women in that room, and she is going to "dance, breathe, sound bathe" her way to that outcome, rather than grinding and hustling.
Jill also shares that this event is not just for the attendees but is also a gift to herself, acknowledging that she has often put others' needs before her own. She invites listeners who may also struggle with holding too much responsibility to reflect on their own patterns, and consider how they can let go and allow the universe to support them! Enjoy this vulnerable and insightful reflection from Jill this week as we get closer and closer to the big event!
