There is something inside of you that the world needs. Not the version of you that has been shaped and polished by degrees, training programs, and years of professional experience — though those things matter. But it runs deeper. Before you ever sat in a classroom or clocked into your first job, God planted something in you that was never meant to collect dust; lead with your gifts. Too many of us have spent years building lives around what we've learned while quietly setting aside what we've been given. We show up to work with our skill sets. We volunteer with our expertise. We check the...

4185 And That's A Wrap! show art 4185 And That's A Wrap!

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

You cross the finish line. You hit the milestone. You reach that thing you've been praying over, grinding toward, and believing God for — and you exhale. And that's a wrap. Or is it? When you accomplish a goal or finally touch a long-held dream, do you stop? Do you sit down, dust off your hands, and call it done? Or does something inside you whisper, "There's more?" It's very interesting how we see life. The moments can feel like a year, when it might have been only a day. But nothing worth having comes in a moment.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

There are seasons in life when the darkness feels closer than it should. When the weight of what you're walking through presses in from every side and you start to wonder if the light you once felt so sure of is still there. Maybe it's grief. Maybe it's uncertainty. Maybe it's a weariness that has settled so deeply into your bones that you can't remember what rest feels like. Wherever you are right now, whatever shadow has crept into the edges of your story, do something simple and holy — come and see. Come and see that the light has not gone out. Desire to be supported and encouraged by...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

You married your best friend. You chose each other. And somewhere along the way, the life you're building together started pulling you apart — not because the love faded, but because everything else got louder. You're not fighting. You're not even frustrated with each other most days. You're just missing each other; sitting in the same house but living in different rhythms. And that quiet distance? It didn't happen because of one bad day. It happened one full week at a time. So when life crowds in on your marriage, don't let the calendar replace the connection. However, the biggest threat to...

4181 The Heat Is On show art 4181 The Heat Is On

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

There are moments in life when everything feels like it's pressing in — the deadlines, the demands, the weight of expectations, and the relentless pace that never seems to slow down. And right in the middle of all of it, you realize something: the heat is on. Not just the kind that comes from outside pressure, but the kind that rises from within, the fire that tells you it's time to move, to grow, to step into the fullness of who you are and who you are created to be. No matter what happens in your day, at some point you have to be willing to go the extra mile, play full out, and do whatever...

4180 The Soil No One Talks About show art 4180 The Soil No One Talks About

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

People will tell you about the blooming, the breakthrough, and the moment they finally stepped into the calling God placed on their life, where everything clicks because He has been planning it all along. But nobody really talks about the soil no one talks about — the stuff underneath the surface that made the bloom possible in the first place. The seasons that felt more like a burial than planting. The prayers that seemed to bounce off the ceiling. The plans you laid out in good faith that God, in His gentle sovereignty, folded up and tucked away. And if you've been in one of those...

Have you ever watched a tennis match and noticed the winner isn't always the one hitting the hardest? Sometimes it's the one who knows when to slow down, when to push forward, and when to reset between points. With the US Open in full swing right now, there's no better time to be reminded that the way we approach our daily lives mirrors what's happening on those courts in Flushing Meadows. It's time to set the pace for your daily race — not someone else's, not the world's, but the one God specifically designed for you. Tennis is a game of rhythm. Every elite player has a routine between...

4178 Laboring For What Lasts show art 4178 Laboring For What Lasts

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

There's something beautifully ironic about Labor Day. It's the one day of the year when we're told to stop laboring — to set down the to-do list, fire up the grill, and just breathe. But as the burgers sizzle and the kids splash in the last pool days of summer, a quiet question has a way of surfacing: What am I really working for? Today, as we celebrate the gift of rest, let's talk about Laboring for What Lasts — and why the answer to that question shapes everything. Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 6:21 (NIV): "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Desire to be...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

There is a rhythm to our days that we rarely stop long enough to notice. We wake, we push, we strive, and we do it all over again. We wrap ourselves around careers, achievements, milestones, and ambitions so tightly that we forget whose we are and who we belong to. But what if this weekend, during this beautiful pause, it became the moment you chose to notice God's goodness? God did not create us to chase all the earthly things. He did not breathe life into us so we could spend every waking moment climbing ladders and collecting accolades. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other...

But somewhere along the way, those God-given gifts got pushed to the back of the shelf. Maybe you told yourself they weren't practical. Maybe someone else told you they weren't enough. Maybe the world simply never made room for them, so you stopped making room for them too.

But a learned skill and a God-given gift are not the same thing. Skills are built. Gifts are breathed into you by the One who formed you.

Psalm 139:14 reminds us, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are your works."

That verse isn't just about your physical body. It's about the fullness of who you were created to be — including every gift tucked inside of you before you ever took your first breath.

So why do we let them sit there unused?

Fear has a way of whispering just loud enough to make us second-guess what God has already confirmed. It doesn't always show up as full-blown terror. Sometimes it's subtle. It's the hesitation before you speak up. It's the thought that says, "Who am I to do that?" It's the quiet assumption that your gift isn't as valuable as someone else's skill. And over time, those whispers become beliefs. Those beliefs become habits. And those habits keep us playing small in a life that was designed for purpose.

Here's what I want you to hear today: doubt didn't come from God.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

If fear and doubt are not from Him, then they have no authority over what He placed in you. None. The seeds of insecurity that were planted in your mind — whether by past failures, critical voices, or your own overthinking — those seeds were never meant to take root. And they certainly were never meant to choke out your calling.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Lead with your gifts!

Don't throw away what God has given you. I know it can feel risky to step into something that doesn't come with a certificate or a job title. But your gifts were never meant to fit neatly into a résumé. They were meant to flow through you and into the lives of the people around you. When you lead with your gifts, you're not performing. You're not proving yourself. You're fulfilling what you were made for.

Yes, your learned skills have a place. They open doors. They pay bills. They allow you to serve in positions that make a real difference. But skills alone will leave you efficient without being fulfilled. When you lean only into what you've been trained to do and ignore what you've been called to do, you may look successful on the outside while something inside quietly aches for more. That ache isn't discontentment — it's your gift asking to be used.

Think about what comes naturally to you. Not what you studied for. Not what you practiced until you got it right. What flows out of you without effort? What do people come to you for without you ever hanging a sign on the door? That's your gift. And it deserves more than a back seat.

Maybe you've been using your skills to build someone else's vision while your own gift sits waiting for permission. Let today be the day you stop asking for permission and start walking in purpose.

Romans 11:29 tells us, "For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable."

He hasn't changed His mind about you. He hasn't reassigned your gift to someone more qualified. What He gave you is still yours — and it's still needed.

Leading with your gifts doesn't mean abandoning your career or throwing away everything you've built. It means making sure that what God placed in you has an active seat at the table of your life. It means using your skills as the vehicle and your gifts as the compass. One gets you there. The other makes sure you're headed in the right direction.

You were not created to simply get by. You were not given breath in your lungs and purpose in your spirit just to check off a to-do list and call it a life. You were made to lead — and the best way to lead is with what was given to you before the world ever had a say.

Step into it. Trust it. Use it. Because when you lead with your gifts, you don't just change your own life. You create something that echoes into the lives of everyone around you.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
