High: I make sure that each team member knows how their individual contribution to our team benefits our organization’s mission and values. I am purposeful in my connection to the team, how I assign work to team members, plan, design, and think through desired outcomes.

Low: My team does not know how their job impacts our mission and purpose. They just feel like they are getting a paycheck.

 

How to grow the skill of Intentional and strengthen your team…

Strong Intentional Skill: Deliberate with your words, Explicit with your expectations, Thoughtful with your responses to questions and challenges, Purposeful with your body language and tone of voice, Considerate with your praise and recognition

Weak Intentional Skill: Careless with your words, Unclear with your expectations, Thoughtless with your response to questions and challenges, Aimless with your body language and tone of voice, Inconsistent with praise and recognition.
