Did I mention its Friday?
We are having another CD Give Away. Listen for details on how to be in the running for a free Kevin Reeves CD!
No one would argue that society wants to protect its children. One of the more common war cries amongst those with an agenda is protect the children, simply because they know that the vast majority of us would like nothing more than to do just that….make sure every child is safe. Problems arise however, when the desire to protect meets the fanaticism of ‘at any cost’. Such was the case with a peice of legislation from 1998 COPA, a law that while never enforced, made it almost impossible to be compliant even for those sites with little or nothing to do with the laws main focus, pornography. A judge has made a landmark ruling this week.
Also on the show:
- It may be time for Lobster-Fest, but in New Zealand you may be smelling giant squid in the microwave soon.
- Giant crock fossil and its special tail apparently migrated 5000 miles in solid rock.
- RIAA is being asked to compensate at least one State University for wasting the Universities time.
- The RIAA is also in trouble as a lawsuit they initiated turns against them and will cost them either way things go.
