The weekend is over, darn it…

Can there be any doubt about who owns the property your home sits on. No, I am not talking about the mortgage, I’m talking about a little issue that Nantucket and its local airport seem to have. Back sixty six year ago, they decided to lay claim to a whole bunch of land on the island just in case is would ever be needed. Problem is, they never recorded it in public records, never notified the owners of the land, and even continued to collect property taxes from the alleged non owners. Not once, but at least two or three times. The Airport commissions stance amounts to….we say its ours…don’t you trust us?
