EP 60: "As One Was" to "As One Does", with Skylar - Part 1 Skylar is back for her fourth session a little over one year from her first session, and WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! Skylar and Traci discuss how she just wanted to be okay around black beans and eat a burger, to earning more money in one month than she did previous year. She got herself a management company thanks to another friend in the business (Danni Daniels) and just returned from the AVN awards. The goal for this session is to help her cut ties with her parents who repeatedly cause her anxiety and stress. Her uncle was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, and she was forgotten when she asked to be included in plans to spend time with him. If that's not enough, she was all excited about a boob lift. Still, she then decided to postpone it until she's in a better mental state to handle being unable to work or lift anything heavy for 6 months while she's healing from the surgery. After covering a variety of issues, Traci now has the groundwork to move forward and get Skylar in a better place. The Hilarity and Hypnosis Approach uses humor to kill the triggers, but since this is Skylar's third session, enough triggers have been addressed that it's time to start using HYPNOSIS to build up the behaviors that Skylar wants for herself. Using characteristics from her role models, The Hilarious Hypnotist Traci begins creating a recording she can listen to every night. She also does a mini-regression, taking Skylar back to the pre-teen who had all of her things taken away, and letting her know she's going to get all those things back and more sometime in the future. Skylar visualizes a room with red and white sheets of paper, symbolizing past hurtful words and positive affirmations. They metaphorically tear up the red sheets and dispose of them, symbolizing letting go of past traumas. EP 52: Snuffing it with Sandy - Part 1 Traci spoke at a Naturist Women's Rendezvous a few weeks ago and met Sandy. Traci's hypno senses lit up, and sensed there was a LOT more to Sandy than appeared and sure enough she was right. She invited Sandy to be on the podcast, and Sandy graciously accepted. Sandy, like many of Traci's clients, had a turbulent and unstable childhood. While they're "functioning" as adults, they have some triggers that just seem to keep getting in the way of their happiness. One of Sandy's triggers is being around emotional women, which she acquired from numerous incidents with her mother. While we start with a list of sex-emotional triggers, this one has a lot of juice so the entire session was focused on this one trigger. A few months later, Ninalynn had to testify that custody of her granddaughter should be given to her son-in-law's parents instead of her daughter, because her daughter married a child molester. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis this past November. A month later, she was told she had kidney cancer, only to find out she was mis-diagnosed and had extreme calcification on her kidneys instead. EP 38: "Change, Planes, and Automobiles" with Jeff - Part 2 In this episode, we continue working with Jeff and begin going through each of the things that caused panic attacks; driving, exercise, and then flying (the big one!). Traci explains to Jeff that the panic attacks are actually trying to protect him (and possibly distract) him from the real issue, which is the loss of control of his life. It's his body's way of saying that he's not safe and that something needs to change, only when it finally speaks it's when Jeff is doing something like driving, exercising, or flying...and then Jeff naturally equates the panic attacks to those activities instead of the real issues. Traci and Jeff work through driving and exercise, leaving only 9 minutes for flying...which means Jeff gets to come back in a future episode. KEY POINTS: Jeff and Traci work through the panic attacks and exercise, with Jeff watching himself in a movie starring Gabriel Iglesias aka "Fluffy." Traci shows the patterns and parallels in her life, and points out how she's much stronger than she thinks. At one point, Traci hands Rachael a rubber chicken to squeeze when she gets triggered, and the laughter finally comes. Rachael starts to hear the words of her ex differently and begins to emerge from the funk of her past...as well as her migraines.
