Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Life doesn’t come with a map. It twists and turns, throws detours at us, and sometimes drops us in places we never expected. This reality hits even harder when you’re raising kids—because now you’re not just navigating your own path; you’re guiding little explorers through their own confusing journeys. Overwhelm can take over, leaving you with questions: “Am I doing this right? Are we lost?” But the thing is that you’re not lost; you’re just sightseeing. When you’re sightseeing, you don’t panic because you’re off-course. You pause. You take in the landscape. You explore...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

We live in a world wired for distraction. Endless notifications, the addictive drag of social media feeds, and the constant buzz of other people’s highlight reels can pull us from what truly matters. We wonder why we feel stuck—trapped in what has happened, fixated on what didn’t work, and overwhelmed by the noise of life. But here’s the brutal truth: if the past leads your present, you’re not moving forward—you’re treading water. Put the phone down. Stop scrolling through other people’s curated moments, the endless barrage of “perfect” lives. Desire to be supported and...

4123 Get Through Today show art 4123 Get Through Today

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

In a world buzzing with endless tasks, deadlines, and distractions, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of what’s next. We pile on to-do lists, strategize for tomorrow’s meetings, plan meals, manage errands, and somehow forget the most important moment—the present. The secret isn’t to conquer every challenge at once, but to zero in on what calls for your attention right now. The goal is simple: get through today. Matthew 6:34 says— “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Desire to be supported...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

How much of your time is wasted feeling overwhelmed while trying to do everything with excellence? Excellence is always great. But maybe good is enough. Expectations are hard to reach, especially when you set the bar high for absolutely everything. So what if you lowered the bar? Standards are a double-edged sword. They can work to your advantage. They push you to grow, to care about your output, to take pride in what you produce. But standards can also become a stumbling block — one that holds you hostage to procrastination and overwhelm. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other...

4121 Live Where God is Growing You show art 4121 Live Where God is Growing You

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

It’s tempting to live in a state of “almost”—almost ready, almost fulfilled, almost free. We tell ourselves that real life will start when circumstances change, when prayers get answers, when doors finally open. But in the process, we miss what God is actively doing right here, right now, in the soil beneath our feet. So much of your energy gets wasted longing for what should be that you fail to live where God is growing you. If you find yourself watching time slip away with hope pinned on some future moment, don’t wait to live. Live where God is growing you. Desire to be...

4120 Reveal My Own Heart show art 4120 Reveal My Own Heart

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Marriage is often painted as a dance of two individuals growing together. But too often, that dance becomes a blame game in which one partner points out what the other isn’t doing, expecting change to come from outside rather than from within. We demand more from our spouses—more attention, more effort, more affection—while neglecting the vital question: what am I bringing to this table? Reveal my own heart. Imagine if, instead of scrutinizing your spouse’s shortcomings, you first took a long, hard look at your own heart—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Desire to be supported and...

Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Parents have so many responsibilities besides raising their children. And when everything gets a little out of hand, it's easy to feel overwhelmed as if you're the worst parent ever, barely keeping your head above water, wondering if you’re failing your children. But you are doing the best you can. What matters most isn’t perfection—it’s what you pour into your children every single day. That is the gift of home. Home is more than walls and furniture. Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Standing on the edge of something new can be terrifying. The unknown stretches before you like a vast, uncharted ocean, and self-doubt is the anchor that threatens to keep you stuck on familiar shores. But waiting for certainty is waiting to stay stuck. If you want a life that matters, you have to learn to welcome the unknown as a doorway, not a detour. History—and countless stories—show that greatness rarely arrives wrapped in comfort and clarity. Instead, it strides in wearing uncertainty like armor and possibility like a weapon. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded...

As parents, we gather countless observations about our children over time. We watch them grow, stumble, laugh, and learn. We see patterns in their behavior and glimpses of who they truly are beneath the surface. When you’re deep in the trenches of raising a child, you get to know them inside and out. And sometimes, you just feel it—something feels a little off. That gut feeling or inner whisper, trust the nudge.

It’s that quiet but insistent voice inside a mama (or dad) that says, “Pay attention.”

It’s the knowing that doesn’t always come with clear reasons or words. You simply know. This is not about paranoia, panic, or overthinking.

It’s about trusting yourself enough to hear what your instincts are telling you, even if you can’t quite put it into sentences.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Trust the N.U.D.G.E.!

So, what ways can a parent learn to trust this N.U.D.G.E.—and use it to guide their child’s growth and development without getting stuck in doubt or fear?

As parents, the lifetime of watching your child unfold creates a deep, intuitive knowing — a “nudge” that something’s worth your attention. That feeling every parent recognizes but can’t always explain: You just know.

Trust the nudge.

Here’s how to own that instinct—and turn it into smart parenting decisions, using the acronym NUDGE:

N — Notice the Small Shifts
Parenting is detail work. When your gut nudges you, it’s usually triggered by subtle changes — a new mood, a quiet withdrawal, or a pattern just threading through daily behavior. Notice these shifts without dismissing them or blowing them up. Your nudge is rooted in the sum of these small signals.

U — Understand Your Bias
Your feelings, stress, or history can color your instincts. Pause to ask: Is this nudge coming from a place of clarity or worry? Be honest with yourself. When feelings run high, it’s harder to trust the nudge accurately. Ground yourself with perspective before moving forward.

D — Dig Deeper, Don’t Jump
The nudge isn’t an emergency alarm; it’s a prompt to investigate. Seek facts, gently ask questions, and seek input from teachers, caregivers, or experts you trust. Let this deeper digging confirm or calibrate your initial instinct.

G — Get Intentional With Action
Trust isn’t passive. Once you notice, understand, and dig, you must act—carefully. Set small, deliberate steps: talk with your child more, adjust routines, or try new ways of connection. Avoid drastic moves until you have a full picture.

E — Evaluate and Adjust
After acting on your nudge, reflect. Did your actions clarify the concern? Did new information shift your understanding? Be willing to refine your approach. Parenting is a cycle of learning and adapting, led by your intuition but grounded in results.

The nudge is your parenting compass. When you follow N.U.D.G.E., you trust your instincts and make smart moves that keep your child’s growth on track.

You know because you know. Now go trust that nudge with courage and clarity.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
