För att uppmärksamma hur det är att leva med en diagnos, både som drabbad men också som anhörig, har Neuroförbundet producerat podden Diagnoser på djupet. I det första avsnittet hör vi Louise Hoffsten, hennes man och deras son. - Kunskap om neurologiska diagnoser måste spridas. Så många är drabbade och vi måste uppmärksamma hur det påverkar. Därför är det viktigt att både den drabbade och deras närstående får berätta om sina erfarenheter, säger Louise Hoffsten. Ambitionsnivån är hög med podden. Berättelserna korsklipps och bearbetas så att upplevelsen blir stor. - Genom att vi korsklipper berättelserna, och genom att vi arbetar med ljudeffekter och musik så hoppas jag att podden pedagogiskt och känslomässigt förmedlar hur det är att leva med en neurologisk diagnos, säger Alfred Skogberg, kommunikatör på Neuroförbundet och producent till podden. Närstående är en grupp som ofta glöms bort. Men deras upplevelse av hur det är att stå bredvid någon med en diagnos är oerhört viktig att förmedla, inte minst för vårdpersonal. - När fler förstår hur olika personer påverkas av en diagnos kan vården fatta bättre beslut. Det blir en win win, säger Louise Hoffsten.
